I had this show queued up on the DVR and just binge watched it over the new year weekend. The first two episodes were a bit slow, but by episodes 3 and 4, the show really got going. I have to say it is an excellent science fiction series and tries to stay close to a realistic look at the future. The space naval battles are pretty epic.

Anybody else watching this series? It already got signed for a second season and it's only 4 episodes in.

I’ve seen it. Good storylines, took an interesting turn halfway through the third season.

Looking forward to Season 4 in December!

All seasons now on Amazon Prime, now owned and produced by Amazon

Just finished season 1. I'm usually watching it while doing the dishes and making breakfast on the weekends. It's really good.

I bought the first book 7 or 8 years ago because Amazon "recommended" it, probably because I had bought several other science fiction books. For the first 100 pages or so I was pretty much "meh, it's OK but that's about it". But by the time I got half way through I was hooked and immediately ordered the rest of the books in the series. I've read all of the books now and watched all 4 seasons of the show and I think it's great. The tv show, while changing things up a little still follows the books pretty closely; that's often not the case when novels are adapted for film.

I turned my brother on to the show and got him hooked too. Now he's in the process of reading the books too.

Just started season 4. I really like this show. I like the CGI but I also like their practical effects and props. Tons of likable characters and plenty of good antagonists that make you root for the good guy. Going to be a bummer when I'm fully caught up and have to wait for season 5.
