sub'd! I have one just like this but a 92 stock. It was my dads (original owner) till he gave it to me and then I gave it to my mom and got my truck! Looks awesome and very familiar

    Maybe I did.... :anonymous:

I need to make some updates but going full speed on mods leaves little time for this.
Thanks ! Sounds like you need that Runner back and start modding...

More work on the swing out today as well. Down to drilling some holes for the latch and capping the end.

More rear bumper work... This thing is close to done. Needs water/fuel can mounts, rear lights wired up and a license plate holder then some paint.

Almost forgot to share this... Removed the stock exhaust and had a new system put in. Tucked it up nice and high and exit out the bumper side cap.

The hole after I built up enough courage to cut my brand new bumper

Since these pics I have painted the exhaust and tail pipe with 1200F Header paint. Seems to be holding up fairly well.

    Thanks man!
That's the whole reason I enjoy doing it myself... Well, that and the fact that only a couple companies make plate bumpers for this Gen 4Runner. I took a lot of little things I like about others and put them all together.

Besides the carrier, that diff housing is completely different from mine. Glad to see that you got it done though

Hahaha! Yep, you check my ID today!

The Spartan was pretty easy... Hardest part was taking out the front diff. Taking that ADD housing off the diff sucked too because of those stupid torx head fasteners.

Not sure what you're getting at here... However, like I said in the post you quoted me on, "I took a lot of little things I like about others and put them all together."
Now, I have not seen any others attaching chunks of phenolic to their stops. Most will do metal to metal or some will have a thin strip of neoprene in between. The rub strip for downward force, yes, many others have done that.

In the end though, what does it matter to you? I'm not stealing a proprietary design and calling it my own to reproduce in mass, for a profit.
I built this bumper by myself, for myself.

You bought a readily available latch and pin, and then built the bumper yourself? That is just crazy. How dare you
