I rock the free version of trails offroad too, has enough info for me. I honestly don't know what the paid version offers in addtion.

Personally I think it's easier to keep each trail as it's own gpx file. Then you can hide the ones you're not using at any given time and it makes things easier to read.

Hey guys, does anyone have a recommendation for a shop in the Eugene, OR are that will install my suspension kit? I called three shops and they’re all very hesitant to even speak about it.

As a fellow 1st gen owner I would be happy to help talk you through doing it yourself if you want to save some dough and pick up some tools and jack stands instead of paying a shop. I don’t know if you’ve space or interest in such things so my apologies if I’m being too forward, congrats on the kit!

This Saturday I am getting some peeps together for a Mt Hood Forest clean up. (Link in my sig) Got less volunteers than I had hoped. If anyone here wants to join us that would be awesome.

Next Tuesday the 11th I am planning on heading out to Tillamook State forest to play. I don't really have a set time in mind, but as always with me it won't be super early. If anyone is interested in joining, I will go ahead and make it a meet up and put it in the OP. Anyone want to come out that day?

Absolutely for the cleanup as long as I can get my leaking rear axle seals and bearings replaced before the weekend...dammit. Noticed over the weekend. I’ll take a look at my gear oil and maybe go either way if it’s not bad.

Right now it's just me. Not a lot of peeps can do mid week. I don't mind being solo, and will be going either way.

Anyone know where to get a 5# fire extinguisher recharged in Portland for a reasonable price?

I threw mine in a tote to make room for the clean up today. Pin fell out, and it emptied itself. Fun stuff

    20200814_194848.jpg

Could have been a lot worse. Most of it stayed in the tote. About a 3" deep layer of it in the bottom of that.

Went to ABC fire extinguisher on SE 102nd near Sandy. They were gonna charge me $28 for the recharge. By far the best price I found calling around today. Ended up talking to the guy and he offered to swap mine out with a charged one. Ended up not charging me at all. Even threw in a couple extra tamper seals to keep that damn pin in place!

Next time I need to do anything fire extinguisher related I will definitely going back there. Now I just need to figure out how to mount this thing so that I never have to clean up a mess like that again.

    Edit - of = on

I followed this thread and happy with quick access and how the mount holds up to wheeling - might be worth a shot

Went out to TSF today. Reminded myself where the designated dispersed sites were. No point in camping for me if I cannot have a fire. Crazy how many of them were full on a Tue.

Did a few sections of archers firebreak. That is a fun trail. Hit 30 degrees at least once.

Also went out and found Triangulation point. Not sure if you can see this panorama but I love it.

    20200818_163522.jpg

These aren't necessary at Triangulation point.

Thinking about the next meet up. Going to figure out a day and let you all know soon. It will be in the TSF, unless there is another request.

Thank you! My dogs ride back there and I don't want it there in case of an accident. I am going to try and figure out a mount to the front of the drivers seat.

Finally got a chance to get out of work and get away. Spent the weekend up at Badger Lake. It was packed! was nice to get the truck dirty some lol. Looking forward to seeing some more trails up there and in TSF here soon. Will have to watch this thread more to see if I can meet up with some of you all
