that is one hell of a deal!

stuff like that worries me though. no telling what those gears have been through, what the brand is, and there's no warranty. can't trust craig's list folks to be honest either. if the guy knows anything about trucks, he knows what those are really worth, so why is he selling so low?

whats going on fellas....wondering if this one is worth this price with all the miles, and if i was looking for a 2001-2004 should i settle for something like this? Looks like a decent truck otherwise

 

hey there welcome!!! man... I personally think the prices are too crazy on these trucks, some will disagree, but i think that's too many miles to pay a premium price, but i'd say that range is pretty standard of what you'd find, basically my answer had no answer

 

Uhhhh 8 years ago I paid 7500 for my 1998 prerunner with 100k on it. So no, I would not pay almost 8k for that in 4x4 with over 200 on the odometer. Offer him 6. If he wants to get rid of it he will take it. They might give him 3500-4 on trade in.

Took me 2 months to find my truck. Paid 3k for a 98 with 196k on the clock. Keep looking

 

We looked for 3 mo. to find what we wanted, Looked at 20 trucks or so. Might find it Mon or weeks from now.. Hold out for the one that makes you happy.. If you get something you did not want you will hate it in no time..

Looking for an '01-'04 5speed 4X4 V6 TRD offroad Xtra or DC with a tow hitch, gotta tow a 16ft fiberglass skiff, approx 2000lbs....might get away with a 4cyl? id prefer a V6 tho, just gonna have to wait like you guys are saying...anyone opposed to the idea of taking a flight to pick one up? couldnt get it looked at by a mechanic...would just have to trust the seller i guess

 

I don't think the DCs came with 5 speed...so that might narrow your search. Keep an eye on AutoTrader if you don't already...and you can set the distance you want to have included. It took me six months of that to find my 04 DC.

 

Ill sell you my 09 for $72,000. Or trade for a supercharged tundra 4x4

 

If you could PM me the details on that, id be interested in checking it out...a 4cyl might not be a bad idea considering id save some $ on gas...might last me while im looking for something else

Gotcha, ill check autotrader from now on, only been checking CL and TW frequently...didnt realize that about the 5speed and DC not being a combo, guess ill go for and Xtra cab b/c id rather have a 5speed.
