    I didnt think hydro assist was necessary either, till I put it on my 85. what clutch did you get? The Marlin ones are never in stock.

    Too bad you jumped on that TG rear bumper. I have a MC bumper stting around that I need to get rid of.

    If you plan on towing, get a tundra. I didn't think I would be towing when I bought my taco, but also didn't think I wanted 4wd :rolleyes:

    With the tundra, you will have the power for hills and not tear up the tranny.

    Damn, yea I wish I had known. I decided to get the TG because of free shipping from LROR.

    I got an Aisin clutch kit, slave and master cylinder. And a Luk flywheel. This thing still had the factory flywheel with 293k

    Troof. Uncle pulled his 32 foot camper up a gravel road that's about a 45-50 degree angle. No problem for it. It's the 5.7L

    In the price range I'm looking, I can either get a new Tacoma (DC SB 4x4) or a used Tundra with approximately 20K miles with full 4 doors, leather, heated seats, sunroof, etc.

    Hell yea! It moved from the driveway to the jackstands in the backyard 5 months ago :p. It was too hot Saturday to work on it, then Lurry texted me at midnight to come out Sunday. He ended up not getting there til 4 and left David and I to take his rear axle out :rolleyes:
