    I fucked around with 22re, trying to find why it leaks oil out of the front. Didn't take long to realize a monkey(s) put this motor in. It leaks oil where the timing cover bolt under the distributor gear is missing. I'm hoping I can put the bolt in and stop the leak but my luck is thin.

    I reinstalled the distributor cover screw after finding it laying in the PS pump bracket, and I need to replace the torn PCV valve grommet. NBD

    Of course the bolt I needed for the head was out of stock.

    I got the stock header off, but I'm going to order a stud set before installing the Doug Thorley piece.

    Yea it is pretty nasty. It was leaking too, from a stripped stud. One of the studs was replaced with a hardware store bolt with 8 washers stacked on it. I have a shit load of paperwork on this P.O.S. I'm going to see who built the motor and tell them to find a new line of work :rolleyes::p

    Removing the crankshaft pulley bolt. If the drivetrain was still in, I could put the tranny in 5th, tcase in low, and chock the tires. Half the drivetrain is missing so I used another method.
