    Did 160 mile drive Sunday to Bellingham and back. GX eats up the miles in comfort. Crossbars whistle something fierce, so I ordered fairing when we got home. 4C7950FD-2184-40E4-A712-D9E85061A751.jpgHopefully I can install tonight and see how it sounds on the morning commute.

    Hi @MarX it'll be a slowish process, maybe not as much built by me stuff. My plan is to have at least a lift and some bigger tires by summer time. After that is all just figuring out what I want vs what I can get my hands on.

    I dropped the GX at the dealer this morning for the new windshield and a buff job they promised at time of sale. The rack fairing got installed and knocked out the wind noise. That’s a win!

    Got the coffin strapped to roof. EEBDA250-997C-4BF4-8B90-33795E676679.jpgIt seemed so much smaller when it would go over Taco canopy. Learning a new Tetris style for packing with substantially less space :rofl::annoyed:

    Today I will find out how good the GX does in snow in its stock form. Two passes to go over and they are both getting hammered with snow this morning. I think my 6 hour drive is going to get longer.
    :annoyed::rofl: :confused:

    You will be pleasantly surprised. I remember my first time in the 470. Lackluster to say the least. Almost does to good.

    It’s more my sanity I’m worried about. Last time I did this drive in winter it took 8 hours. That was in a low spec Xterra so today’s drive will be infinitely more comfortable. Kids and dogs make everything harder. :rofl::rofl:

    GX is great in the snow. Heavy and planted. Feels better than the Taco IMO. Good luck!
