I picked up a pre owned 2015 in February to replace a 2002 Grand Cherokee that was needing more and more work. I also own and small cabinet shop and working out of an SUV gets old in a hurry. Main goal is to have a solid work truck Monday though Friday and a fun camping light wheeling mountain bike hauler for the weekend.

Got the center grill chrome over lay and the stick on chrome door handles removed and I think it looks a lot better. Still need to do the mirrors.

Looks a lot better without the chrome accents I have to say.

Have you seen the documentary "Surviving Progress"?

I asked because your title phrase is referenced in that show. It's a good documentary that highlights some very real issues. But the views may be a bit controversial depending on your views (just to forewarn you).

Good lucking truck, I have a '15 Access cab in white.

Its actually in reference to the 2008 Staind album The Illusion of Progress and this is the 3rd build I've used the title on, just hope this one turns out better than the last 2.

no more plastic stick on chrome. Got sick of the chrome mirrors so I pulled off the covers last night. Looks a lot better black. Going to leave teh grill because I don't feel like spending the money on a sport grill when that money can go towards sliders bed rack ect

Big thanks to @scottalot for hooking me up with some new 265 75 16 Fierce Attitude MTs and @ahspurlock for mounting them. They handled great on the 2 hour drive home. Now to pull the front mudflaps and paint the wheels. Thinking gunmetal or bronze.

Have you found any practical use for the outlet in the back? I don't suppose you can run any of your wood working tools from it.

While I try hard to subscribe to "to each their own" when it comes to mods, previous owner should be smacked for doing that to the mirrors, door handles, & grill insert. Sheesh.

Good lookin' truck, I think you've got the best combination of flavors.

Sadly most of my day is spend staring at Quickbooks ordering and telling other people to build stuff. I have used the bed outlet to charge batteries and run some of my Festool stuff on a job site while they were converting from temp power.

I agree, its one thing on a street truck but not on a TRD offroad.

removed the front mudflaps and gave it a much needed bath. Next project is getting my CB mounted and painting the wheels because the stock silver isn't going to cut it and I'm not buying new wheels.
