Im trying to mount it all to the forward bed rail. I guess I can just sink the axe/shovel down with longer pieces of flatbar.

 

What all are you trying to mount on the front rail?

 

High lift, axe, shovel.

 

What'd be cool is if you had two long pieces of bar stock going down, then bend them at the bottom and tie it into the bed bolts. And have some horizontal bar running between the two for rigidity.

 

I thought about that. 90 degree bend would be hard to pull off at casa del mike.

 

You sir, need a welder. Notching the bar, bending and welding is very easy and effective.

What kind of trouble are you having?

 

I couldnt make to that place in manassas, but everywhere around fairfax said they wont do non factory spec alignments.

 

I don't know what that means but I like it!

I tried to load a photo but gave up after 20 minutes.

 

Sheesh, lazy fucks. If you still can't find anyone, the place I go is right around the corner from me, maybe 1 mile. They'll do whatever you want for $100

 

I know a welder in the cove... He's building/designing my rack for over my ST.

You want to shoot for 0 toe/camber and as much caster as they can get, around 1.5*

edit: I just say "Hey I need an alignment and I'm looking for some specific numbers. Can I talk with the tech?"
