Yeah what's sad is this guy wasn't getting what I was saying at all. He kept insisting his point which I understand his point ethically he's right but when your hands are tied by the law your hands are tied he just had blinders on and didn't want to realize it wasn't the manufacturer or dealer.

Some of what he was saying and passing information on is why I created the thread TSB vs Recall where I actually explain and cite information so people understand the correct information.

Yea, seems like a whole new breed of know-it-alls. I mean it's one thing to want to try to help people but if you need to act the ass or disrespect someone else in the process then your really not doing anyone any favors. Especially me. Then as if that's not bad enough they just have to argue their point as if all the sudden the other person is going to say "ok, you're right, now I see, I've been wrong all along ".

It's one thing if you can prove the other wrong its another if you just resort to the name calling and yelling that you are wrong. I can prove my point over and over again that's why when he started the name calling it didn't really surprise me. In debating whenever the looser usually goes to this tactic. It's a ploy on emotions.

His skid is meant for a stock exhaust and tucks up against it. If you were to go to an exhaust shop and get it reroutes so it doesn’t hang so low, you could keep the same skid. It just wouldn’t be tucked up and you wouldn’t gain anything from the rerouted exhaust. In that case, you’d need the new skid.

Basically do you ever have any plan of rerouting your exhaust for more clearance?

Alright, after getting some highway time with this exhaust, it's not for me. I think it's a combo of no carpet, being a manual transmission (i.e. me being in my gear of choice) and it's just loud AF to begin with. Going to pass it along to @ilubtimmyhos and see how he likes it.

I take wxtreme offense to that. My daughter turns twenty three today. But than again she learned the value of the dallor at a young age. She wanted a phine at age 10. Ok lets go pick rocks in grand pas fields. Than she started working on the neighbors farm age 11. Now she us i her last year of college has not yet taken out a student loan.

Pretty much lol it was given to me for free so of course I'm gonna pass it along to someone else for free. And I'm sure if it's too loud for him, he'll pass it along too.

I think it's great that you and your wife have taught your daughter to be the exception to the rule. That's refreshing. Knowing you here like I do, I'm sure she's a wonderful young woman. She sounds like she's learned fro great parents.

As long as there is no drone at highway speeds I like it loud. That intake I have is deafening. Of course I used to drive Harleys that had straight pipes. I believe they measured out at 115 decibels, and higher under load at WOT.

Damnit I was going to say I'll take it. :(

Well if @ilubtimmyhos doesn't like it and wants to pass it along I'll take it off his hands.
