Larger calipers and rotors. Vs tundra, I don't know if we can run tundra brakes on a second gen. I believe that's a first gen thing. The 4runner upgrade on a second gen would be comparable to a tundra upgrade on a first gen.

The booster you want, it's dual diaphragm in the same size footprint.

Get off my lawn and move more fluid with your single diaphragm, junior.

What’s nice about this stuff is it can be done in pieces. Like do the bbk first, then the MC and diaphragm, then rear conversion if you really want

I still haven't done the MC or the booster.

You have to extend the rod to the pedal and get lines to tie in on the opposite side of the MC. Can buy both of eBay as well

I was just gonna get the sos kit for the MC. Comes with everything you need, including MC, for $300 or so.

Damn, I am priced out at like 150 using ebay used parts. I may wait and see how yours comes out. Still waiting on my archive stuff to finish up the rear first.

You can buy them on their own somewhere. I’ll scope them out soon when I’m in front of my pc

Ooooh, nice! When I got new wheels I went up to 17s knowing I'd do the 4runner brake upgrades down the line. The caliper/rotor part is easy enough, but the DIY MC part was a bit overwhelming, for me, with the brake line mods. Without the upgraded MC, you dont get the full potential of the mod, so I benched it to figure it out later. This is so much easier. Thanks for posting it. I can now unbench it and get on it.

Haven't looked into booster aspect at all. Have you?

Happy to share! And no I haven’t. I would like to do some research/watch videos and learn more about what a booster even does so I can better understand what upgrading it means.

The booster is what pressurized the fluid thru the line according to the pedal position. Our boosters are single diaphragm boosters.

The new masters hold more fluid so you will be trying to push more fluid with the same boost you have now. The double diaphragm boosters add more pressure quicker based on the same pedal position.

At least in my reading and stuff, that's the conclusion I reached. But you know me....
