I've only driven through Minnesota but from what i understand the salt in the wintertime is rough on vehicles. My trucks first owner was in MN (i still have the paperwork in the glovebox) and the underside is fairly rusty. Luckily it only spent a short amount of it's life there before it came to Wyo. But man an Antarctica expedition would be incredibly cool..literally:cool:

Yeah, MN wouldn't be my first choice to live. BUT, the job does sound fun. I would involve hands on testing of new Polaris AT vehicles. So, I'd be spending my time trying to break side-by-sides and snowmobiles. Not a bad way to earn a buck!

Luckily, the Antartica job would be based out of CO and I could even keep my house! Plus, it would probably be a small raise from my last job. This one is definitely #2 in my list of hopeful jobs... right behind Virgin Galactic:plane:

So, I got a couple of questions on the cost of a crawl box setup. If I remember correctly, the whole thing cost me almost $2500, but I did the triple stick setup.

    *********************************************************************
Also, keep in mind that these prices don't include any cost associated with welding,
floor board modification for my clocked case, bending/fabricating, or modification to my stock t-case to work with a triple stick.
    *********************************************************************

Here are the major items that I can remember:

Inchworm Crawlbox setup - $1450 (for the 23 spline setup)
    Drive Shaft Mods - $400
    Fluids/RTV/Loctite - $100
    Rubber pickup t-case mount - $70

    Optional:
Triple Stick Setup - $250 from RADesigns

If you have any more questions on cost, or just want to know what I learned as I did my install, let me know!

My drive shafts should be a little cheaper. I got a quote from the local shop. I'll let you know this week.
