Sweet. I'll have to try this when I swap out my LCA bushings!

Nice fit on the tires! And definitely use the prybar with stock uca's.
Seeing those pics helps give an idea what to expect when I go bigger.

Thanks Brett. I'm glad the pics are useful. I've seen a lot of questions on fitting 33x12.5s but no detailed pics. So, I thought I'd throw some up there. If/when you are ready to go bigger, feel free to let me know. We can meet up somewhere and you can take a look for yourself:)

I've been thinking about putting some plate in the wings of my bumper and mocked the general idea up with some cardboard.

What do you guys think of the idea?

Prolly look just fine. I think the satoshi grill metal that Homertaco uses would look really cool as an insert in a tube bumper

I'm thinking about making it bolt-in since the tube will be the structural member. I couldn't really see the lines with all the color in there, so I sprayed the cardboard black.
Looking at it now, I'm not sure that my diagonal break line is quite right...

You're right. I'll see if I can get my hands on some aluminum and we'll see what happens:p

He plated the top of his TG? I was thinking about bolt-in plate for mine... I'll have to check his thread out...

Yea several have done the top of the TG bumper. But yours is tuck up to the truck WAY better then the TG one.

You could weld tabs on the bumper and have bolts and use aluminum for the plating too.

Looks like I have an interview tomorrow, so this project is on a temporary hold. That being said, I'm still intrigued by the idea of a "modular" and reconfigurable tube/plate bumper...
