    Hmmm... do you have any pictures of how your trimmed up front? I've just trimmed my pinch weld, but haven't touched anything else... I've got pics somewhere...

    I didn't do any trimming, I have a body lift on top on my suspension lift. I will be switching to 33's though. Even with 4:56 gears, my 3.4l just isn't as peppy as I'd like it to be off road.

    What size tires are you currently running? You should just be able to measure the difference between what you have and what you want, to see what they will hit.

    My wheels are 4" BS and they aren't far enough. Will rub on the frame at full lock.

    So I added spacers. I had my old 1.5" ones left over. But some Borja .75" would be better. The farther out the tire gets pushed the more fender and pinch weld you have to cut/hammer.

    I had to cut a lot on stock fenders. And even my glass ones I had to cut. If you don't want to 33x10.5s would fit no problem with how you have it trimmed.

    Thought about it. 4.88's would be awesome off road, but would suck on road. 4.56 was a happy medium between on and off road.

    Not with 35s. 4.88s and 35s is almost dead set same as stock ratio. 4.56s and your still bogged down. 4.56s go better with 33s.

    I disagree. My speedometer is dead on at 60 mph, and only slightly off in either direction. 4.56 and 35's feel just like stock on road.

    I had 4.88's and 35's in my 07, and hated them. Felt geared way to low. Had to race the motor at highway speeds.

    Good point. I just have to get the truck flexed out and see where I'm close...

    What rpm are you at at 65? Should be 2600 for stock.

    Even the math shows 4.88s and 35s are stock..

    I'm at 2400 RPM at 65. If hitting 2600 RPM to do 65 is stock, then I'm very happy that I'm not stock. That would suck. My speedo and miles count correctly right now. That tells me that it's pretty damn close to stock.









    And, sorry for derailing your build thread Lumpskie. :(



    I say get the 33's, and have a hammer and saw ready. :)

    That's a good choice for snow and ice. We don't get any snow, and rarely ice down here. Just mud, dirt, and rocks lol.

    NO DURATRACS!!!! :mad: i will be sad if you get those..haha

    MTRs are..okay..idk if can get over how much i hate goodyears to run them myself..haha


    and yea 2500-2600 is stock for 65mph..Brady and i did all the math and 4.88s with 35s puts you same as 4.10s and 31s.

    And yea..no hard feelings..wasn't fighting :p haha


    But back to tires..have you siped you KM2s? thats supposed to help a TON on the ice.


    here are some photos..can't remember which phase of cutting i was at..i had to go back 4 times.

    now the new body i litereally cut ALL the pinch weld out. Hammered it down and trimmed my glass fenders..no pics of fenders i think..
