    He likes em..but honestly hasn't offroaded a ton with them..but hasn't ever had a problem with them.

    Meanwhile, back at the ranch...


    I helped a buddy move a shed into his yard. He got it for free from his neighbor. We used the winch to spin it 180 degrees an just dragged it in. Worked out great, and was fun too!

    I run them but in a 32 11.50. they do great in everything. i have had 2 sets of them and they both did great. got good mileage out of them too

    This is good to hear. I'm thinking about trying them in the 33x12.5 variety. It's weird because everyone that runs them seems to like them, but they're not a very popular tire. Thanks for sharing your experience!

    Ran Argentine pass today. The trail was over run with water and we only got up half way because of the snow drifts.

    Checked my rear diff... looks like I got water in there from some of the water crossings. Looks like the rear diff breather mod is knocked to the top of my list now.

    Do any of you ARB locker guys know if I need to do anything special when I flush the rear diff?

    I just drain the old, clean the magnet and put in new. Haven't had any problems as of yet.

    Thanks for the info DavTopGun. The diff is draining now. PCBuilder14: Maybe the diff breather is more important than I thought...

    So, when I was draining my diff, I noticed that the oil looked a little "glittery". I looked closely at my fingers and saw that there were little silver metal speckles on it. I wiped the drain plug and saw more there.

    After I wiped the drain plug I saw this:

    It looks like larger metal shavings... I looked around and collected some of the larger shavings:

    Do you think this is poorly adjusted backlash? What do you think could cause this!?! Any help/expertise would be appreciated!

    Did you replace the gears when you did the locker? Some shavings are normal with new gears. If you're still using the old gears, I'm not sure if you're supposed to get some shavings or not.

    ^I didn't replace the gears, but you got me thinking... I broke the cage in my locker in Dec/Jan and rebuilt it. When the cage was broken, the locker would randomly engage/disengage. I wonder if some of those shavings are left over from that event. This is the first time I drained it since then.

    Plausible??

    So, I just refilled the diff and I'm going to run it as-is for a while. I a few thousand miles, I'll drain it again to take a look at the oil, looking for more shavings. If it comes out clean, maybe this is just left over from my locker carnage...
