I wish brother, but the little ones are a bit young for a trip like that, and shipping the Runner can't be cheap. Right know all I can do is live vicariously true you. Awesome pics and narrative, bravo my good man!!!

it was a real enjoyment. putting it off for far to long. my dad back when i was a kid took me all around that area and i cant wait to go back and take my boys they are 1 and 3. they just need to get a bit bigger/older. besides hole in the rock and rose garden hill how do you think a little exp trailer would do. it is only 10 feet long

uhh...the wash on Kokopelli would be an issue i think.

TOTW would be interesting as well.

Lockhart i don't know. Pretty tight in the canyon but if you make it through that, you're good.

No way on Elephant hill. You have to do backwards wheeling as the switch back is so tight. That said, you could come in the south way just fine. The Devils Squeeze could be..interesting too. But its not sharp. Just have to make sure your approach would be perfect.

After that, everything would be no problem i think other than Flint Trail, switch backs could be too tight there. The Doll House also would have a few tense spots but i think you could make it.

Ive never wheeled with a trail though. haha

And awesome! Be great place to grow up and show the little guys.

yea it was pretty fun growing up in the four corners area. pops actually made a road out to warm creek bay back in the 80's on lake powell with our tiny Nissan pick up and i can still remember boats coming up dumb founded how we got out there.

really random question if you are at hite marina and take a right turn out onto whatever paved road that is there is a trail on your left not more than a few miles out of the marina is that where you were. I remember my dad saying you could make it all the way to Blanding or Monticello from that road?

hmm glancing at Google Maps, that would be road 208A. We were on the other side of the Colorado River which is The Maze. Canyolands is more north east. So out of hite to the highway, we would have turned left, or north, and then one of the roads into The Maze is right on the right just after crossing the RIver

It looks like that'll take you to Bear Ears which we were in for a part of it. Looks like it goes into the roads we had been on the UTBDR. Looks like you can get almost to Blanding.

Do it, and lemme know :D haha looks possible though!

Looks do able. You could do a huge loop starting with Canyonlands and then going south the way we did but jumping on that road you're talking about. Refuel at Hite and then go straight into the maze just a mile later.

    Be quite the trip!
