I spent the last 2 days making an absolutely hideous CB antenna mount. I am proud of the result, but it is not pretty. Someday I will replace it with something nice.

I started with a bottle opener that FrontRunner sells that fits into their rack and hangs off the side. I think you can see it hang off the side in this pic.

Then I drilled a 3/8" hole in the top to allow for the antenna to pass through.

After that, I needed to grind the bottle opener part to allow the coax connector to fit through. This is the ugly part. Original plan was to turn the hourglass shape into a square, but I needed more room so it is more like a fat batman symbol now.

    Finished product.

Started the wiring. Actually much nicer than I thought. Excited to get it all hooked up next week.

LOL my subject to hate tonight is literature. I hate being in freshman classes. I've got an exam tomorrow, exam the next day, then Stagecoach this weekend! Much needed break!

101 classes as a senior were always my favorite. Never gave a fuck, and still got A's. Remember, you're competing against people that are years behind you. It's makes everything sooooooo much easier!

Oh yeah. They are pretty easy but I'm just bored. I have to take an exam tomorrow where I write 3 essays. The professor gave us the prompt, and spark notes basically has the answers laid out so it's not hard by any means, just time consuming. Drinking this weekend should help me get through.

My friends are flying down for stagecoach. If you see a crazy drunk blonde girl named "Tina" (not that there aren't tons already..) its actually my friend Meagan but her drunk alter ego is Tina.

My subject to hate is Accounting.. I get the stuff in class but her tests are fucking hard, her reasoning? "Because if I don't make the tests hard enough then I get in trouble, so I just make them hard". Fucking bitch

Ya and it's super important. The stud cannot touch metal otherwise it grounds the antenna
