It's gotten significantly more humid in the last 3-4 days. At least I was able to find one. I should have it tomorrow. These starters are very easy to replace, same location as the 2nd gen Tacomas. I did my Tacos starter in a little over an hour without removing the wheel.

Starter replaced. Took less than an hour.

Also discovered a shredded AC belt wrapped around the fan.

I think that might be related to your AC not working...

I replaced the belt... it seems to be working. Hopefully it holds up.

It has been a while since I've updated things here. I drove from Dallas to Washington DC in a 94 Land Cruiser with 272k miles. Made it with no problems, but I still need to rebuild my knuckles, replace all the seals, and install the one last shock that was damaged.

The problem I have now is my parking garage at work. 7 foot clearance and I'm rubbing the signs with my roof rack.

TLCA CLCC (Toyota Land Cruiser Association Capital Land Cruiser Club) had a little get together. We rebuilt my knuckles. Things are much smoother now.

It has definitely been a while... but I got some work done today.
    1. Heavy duty steering damper
    2. Rear diff oil
    3. Oil change
    4. Hood struts
    5. Side mirrors (no more floppy ears)

Tomorrow I'm getting my 35s installed.

They look good but being stock width makes them look a little smaller i think. What are your thoughts on those? I've looked at them because of the low weight.

Are they the 315/70r17s or the 35x12.50r17s?

I got the 315/75/16s. They're good, I had no trouble 2 weeks ago on mud and wet rocks.

I've made some big changes since the last post... sliders are painted and installed, springs are in, new awning is up, rear swingout is welded with the full size spare, Treds and Rotopax are mounted to the spare.

1st picture is the cheap Chinese knockoff 270 degree awning. It did fine for a $310 awning.
    20191026_131005.jpg
Next couple are the rear swingout, before paint and before mounting the extra stuff on.
    20191003_181608.jpg 20191003_170557.jpg
    Finally, the White Knuckle sliders.
