anyone see the trailer?not sure if it will be any good at all.loved the old ones.but after 300 nightmare movies i think they are beating a dead horse. why does freddie sounds like batman from the darknight

I don't like how they are redoing old movies. I'm beginning to believe that they are running out of ideas for movies, continuing old ones, & just renaming the title. Kinda not cool....

 

The new voice of Freddie is the guy who played Rohrshach in watchmen..

Just saw that you're from Abilene. I was stationed @ Dyess & worked on the B-1. Didn't mind the base much but loved the city.

 

correct^^ robert englund played the original freddy. not sure why they didnt try to get him. i hope rob zombie will try to make up for what he fucked up in the halloween movie. gonna try to see it tomorrow.

 

I thought Robert Englund stopped doing the movies for his kids sake (cant remember where I heard that) He is also getting up there in years. I was never one for the franchise, but who knows, it could be decent.

 

ya actually i think i heard something like that before. i never was a huge fan for them either but im hoping this will be darker then the previous ones.
