The EL46XL was made for the leaf pack you are currently running. I would pick those up and the anti squeak pads, and maybe shims while your at it.

Maybe the Icon add a leaf would work, but my preference would be to keep it the same as a matched set. The OME leaf is just the extra leaf that you would have received if you purchased the heavy pack to start with.

As soon as my cap is delivered I’m probably going to do the same thing.

Thank you for the advice @minium

I'm not sure what would work better to bring the arch back because the Icon has 3 leafs (shorter) vs the OME with 1 leaf (long).

If I had known about my bed carrying so much weight I had order the heavy duty pack from the beginning and plus, I know I'll have to replace also my Fox 2.5 Coilover springs, but that's another topic I'll look for it.

What would be the anti squeak pads? Do you mind sending me a link?

    Thank you. Appreciated.

Yup, here are the shims you might need to get rid of any vibrations in the driveline:

depending on the wear factor of your fox shocks, you might be able to have them rebuilt for a lot cheaper than replacing them.

Question for you all. I bought the EL112R heavy duty and I have some forward rake on my truck. I have ADS on all the corners. I visited ADS today and they suggested I take out a leaf I. The back. The one he suggested is the thick flat one 2nd from the bottom (I think). Is this the leaf you guys would pull. Just want a consensus before I pull the leafs apart. Thanks.

Nah. Forward rake is normal. Gona look real awkward if you go level and then it settles a bit or you carry a load. Imo

Anyone have any reviews of these springs now that they’ve been out for a minute?

mine (OME Dakar Medium) flattened out a bit but the ride hasn't suffered if anything, it's gotten better. Went wheeling pretty hard last weekend at Shamrock Shakedown in Oliver springs Tennessee and they were fantastic. Truck still maintains it's lifted stance.

Right on! Think they’ll hold up? Kinda unsure about it settling on you already.

like I said my ride height hasn't really changed noticeably, they ride great, plus I wheel the crap out of this thing. I also tend to put a bunch of stuff in the bed regularly. Nothing super heavy otherwise it would have got the heavier pack. I guess we'll see how it holds up over time, although my buddy has the same pack in his truck and he's been wheeling harder than me for a lot longer. And his are just fine.

Just got my Heavies installed. Sitting 2" higher than my old worn out factory pack with AAL. 24.5" center to wheel well on a fully loaded truck, camper shell, drawers, ect. The springs are double arced like wet noodles, but holding height so far. I had to grind the ends down to fit in shackle, which I though was bullshit. The leaves are notched on the front end but not the back? I would have ran them backwards ( arrow pointing back) but the double wrap on one of them wouldn't fit in the shackle.

I’m seeing conflicting info on this so I’m curious which U-Bolts are needed for the EL111R (MD) springs, is it the OMEU53A or OMEU53B?

Does your leaf pack not have giant yellow arrows?

Mine did not. I had to look on a few video tutorials and saw the side with 2 full clips was going to the rear/shackle. The side with the open and single clip forward.

    was just double checking

I have had the new medium packs for about a year and they are squeaking pretty bad. Can’t even get out of my truck without a squeak. Solution for this to replace the pads or to the grease points work on these?

Sorry I don’t know the answer to that but do you have the old version or new version of leafs? New ones are EL111r and EL112r.
