I have the EL095R packs. Which I assumed were the new ones since I got them last May.

Little of this, little of that.
It looks like you were a bit too early. This thread was started last June and I’m not sure if the new leafs came out then or soon after. They apparently have anti-squeak shims, not sure if they’re effective or not though. Hopefully someone has a fix for ya. You could try reaching out to ARB, I’ve heard of people doing that in the past and they took care of them.

So I'm currently trying to install the EL111R (ELO95R) on my 2016 Tacoma Access Cab, but the shop just called me to inform me that these leafs won't work with the schackles that are stock, or the new shackles from Bay Area Metal Fab that I purchased to install with these leafs. They said that it won't set correctly into the hangers. What do I need to do to get this to work, or am I just screwed and need different leafs?

hahahaha if every other shop wasn't going to have me wait 3 damn months for the install than I would have. It's weird that I live in Southern Oregon, and yet the number of 4x4 shops who actually do these installs I can count with one hand.

IIRC, to use the OME leafs with the BAMF HD shackle hangers and HD shackle, you have to trim the leafs. Maybe @JLee or someone else has a photo showing what needs to be done?

Thank you so much for that information. Hopefully I can get a picture and show the shop what needs to be done.

I have ordered EMU leafs in medium. I have 5100 on all 4 corners. Adjusted to max on front
Will these 5100’s in rear work with these leafs? Do I need driveline spacer ? Anything else I need to consider before dropping truck off at dealer?

I have the medium Dakars leafs with a topper, prinsu toprac with a RTT that is on occasionally, the mediums seem to support this just fine, although any more weight and I’d be front end high. I decided to get a HC rear bumper with a tire carrier and I don’t think the mediums will be able to support the weight over time. Is adding a leaf to the mediums recommend and my best option for this? I plan to install bumper and see what it looks like first, then placing the order if needed. 8A3445F6-E949-4012-803C-A31A057090CF.jpg

I have the mediums, with an extra leaf and the hangers installed. So far with my decked system, and soon to add an ikamper tent I'm still sitting a little above level. But if you're adding a new bumper to the rear on top of what you already have I'd upgrade to the deaver level 3's that can support up to 900 lbs honestly. But my way of thinking has always been, more is better.

Your way of thinking isn’t wrong, lol
It’s just easier and cheaper to throw a 100$ AAL in there and see how it does. If and when I need to upgrade I already planned on looking at the deavers. I sit about even now with the mediums, so an added leaf should support the new bumper, and the tent doesn’t stay on the truck unless I’m camping.

Hey folks. Sorry in advanced for the dumb questions. I'm about to install my OME lift next Friday and just wanted some clarification one some things.

    1. Should the arrows on the leaf packs be facing the driver side or the rear end? I heard that the heavier wrapped end should be facing the rear and arrows pointing to the front of the vehicle but it looks like I have the arrows the other way around. Maybe I'm wrong..

    2. Is there anything I should cut/trim off the leaf pack?

    3. Should I add the spacer right of the bat for the taco Lean or not even bother?

    Thanks in advance folks!

Also am I wrong for thinking the end with the little extra curl is the heavy end and should be put on the rear and the lighter wrap on the front?

I have the OEM TRD lift on my truck, but looking to remove the block that came with the kit and add the HD OME Dakars (EL112R). I believe the consensus is that the TRD shocks are just TRD tuned 5100's, but I'm not sure what the specs are exactly. Are my rear shocks long enough to support these leaf packs?

ETA: I ordered these from Headstrong on Wednesday. Hopefully, I don't run into any issues.

If you talked to anyone that had strong and they didn't recommend changing shocks then you're good to go. Those people know their stuff.

Anyone know how much lift the OME AAL will give to my medium duty pack?

Whatever the difference is between a medium and a heavy leaf pack. Since the only mechanical difference is the addition of that AAL

I never did talk to anyone, but I installed everything and have been on a few trail rides without issue. Not sure I've completely flex everything out, but so far, so good. Very happy with these new leaf packs.
