@Spectre_6MT how the new HD Dakars holding up? Im trying to figure out if I want the medium or heavy set. I have a topper and drawer system (usually filled with items) on the truck all the times. When I go wheeling or camping the bed is mostly full and I soon will be getting a RTT. Again just curious what you have attached to your truck with your HD Dakars as comparison.

Sounds like you need the heavy set.

    2 part follow up:
Will I need shims? I already have the cb drop

Shock recommendation? I don't wheel hard enough, and my budget is limited, so getting a high end shocks is not worth it. Im looking at the 5160/6112 set up. I ran the 5100 set up on my old Taco, nothing crazy good about them but got the job done. Hoping the 5160/6112 set up may bring some cheap thrills.

If you're getting OME leaves just go ahead and get a full suspension from them. Nitrocharger shocks are just as good as 5100s, if not a little better.

Decked system and RSI Smartcap. Mine are still working great for me, and I think the mediums might have me about level (2" lift in the front), but I think they would sag if I carried much more or if I towed anything. HD's give me about a 1" rake.

I didn't need shims, but did install the CB drop spacer kit.

Thanks for the info! Have you measured hub to fender, front and back? Curious where your sitting.

Hey all. A few weeks ago I bought a 2010 Access Cab TRD. It already has OME pack, but they are making noise so I want to replace them. I believe currently, it is OME model 12b15, which is what it says on the top of the leaf, I can't make out the white sticker as the print is gone. I can't find any information on the ones that I have now but would like to replace them and I see that this new pack is the EL111R a direct replacement for what I believe is 12b15?

If they're just squeaking, all leaves squeak. If it's still holding the truck up, no need to replace

I don't have much squeak, it's more so leaf shifting causing thud sounds from the rear.

Wonder if your spring retaining bolt is missing.

Is that the one that goes through the center of the leafs?

Ok. I'll have to check tomorrow. I did re-torque the unbolts but that did not seem to help.

It's a bit of work, but if you don't have grease circs on your shackle bolts you might have to take the leaves out and regrease those poly bushings.

It's not the squeak that I'm worried about, it's the clunk. I found a video of the same sound I have. When shaking the truck side to side this is the noise I get.
    https://youtu.be/8P5ddiKhB1U

I had a suspension tech look a at it and found the leaves are shifting which is causing the noise. He isolated it by using vice grips on the leaves and the noise went away.

    Well damn lol

At that point it might be easier just to order a new set of medium leaves and call it a day

Yup that's what I'm thinking. They're old leaves anyway and I can't even find information about the model number I see listed on the top leaf. Is the EL111R a direct bolt in?
