Awesome, thanks very much. Sorry for not looking into it further myself but I'm at work. :)

Nah, no worries man. What's the point of a forum if you can't ask questions.

Well, none of it seems ultra difficult, just need the tools.

Like anything else just take your time and you will be fine.im thinking about doing this at the same time I do my lift no matter what lift I get just to wipe that off the list of potential issues lol

Also, shouldn't this be covered by 60k Drive Train warranty?

More than likely they will say the lift caused it and not want to cover it but maybe not, that's always been my experience with dealers and warranty claims...do more work trying to get out of fixing shit than it would take to just fix it lol

Hmmmmm, i wonder if it would help to say they installed it (no paper work but my friend, who works at that dealer, did all the work at their service garage).

Doubt it will help. In fact, it may do the opposite and get your friend in trouble. Unless the service manager knew he was doing side work with the dealerships resources.

It's a slippery slope with dealerships. Letting work get done in their garage, but at the same time having that work NOT associated with them.

    Yeah.... yeah :-\

Guess i should start pricing together how much this is gonna cost for me to do it (as I don't have most of the tools readily available), or for the same buddy to do it.

Sounds as if some funny stuff goes on at that dealer. Side work at the premises without paperwork is definitely not the norm...

If it's on company time, sure. On their days off... It's definitely not unheard of.

Knock on wood i have not encountered this issue in the 1 1/2 years since installed on my 2015 with 3" toytec lift (springs, spacers, leafs) and bilstens. I did also install diff and cb drops as well.

With the CB drop kit did you do it yourself? I did not do that but I'm very much considering it now. Especially since it's 12 bucks and Toyotec is ten minutes from my house.

Hi Reign, I have a 2015 4x4 TRD OR with a 2 1/2 inch in front and 3 inch lift the rear. I had the needle bearing issue.
Your title is drive line vibration, I would recomend the CB drop kit. I had the CB drop kit installed at the time of the lift and have had no issues in over 2 years.
If the vibration is in the front it is the needle bearing most likely. Your description leads to the needle bearing.
I have also had no issues since the needle bearing was done.
I recommend both for piece of mind..

Yup :) Talked to toyota this morning getting an oil change (still have 2 more under warranty) and they actually recommended against CB drop but confirmed my needle bearing. ECGS will be here friday and they will install labor free :D

Nice, Toyota did my needle bearing under warranty (TSB) and had no problem with my lift.

How bad is it to drive on it while it does the vibration? Earliest I can get it in is the 8th.
