yup once I got through the tough part, insane carb cravings, my body (and brain) tripping out because the source of energy they've been used to all these years was gone...I love it now. this was a couple years ago when I started so it's normal for me now.

I'm an endo and was a huge carb addict before

no I haven't, but i'm going to get some blood work soon. i'll get my test checked as well and post results (though I have no point of reference since I've never had my test tested prior).

I don't try to hit specific macros, not even calorie targets. I eat as much as I like and as long as the carbs are bare minimum (< 50g for me, everyone is different) I'm fine. however there's no such thing as a low carb bulk, so if I wanted to compete at any sort of competitive level (such as bodybuilding, like yourself) I'd definitely adjust appropriately and go with a much higher carb ratio. i'm not a blind low carb proponent nutjob, like you'll find on some forums, but for where I'm at right now it works great.

At the very least it'll give ya a starting point...and it's always good to see how ur levels are (lipids and such) to catch anything that may be too high/low..

eh, just have to do what u enjoy and are consistent at...some respond to what you're doing, loggers respond to high carb/low fat, carb cycling etc ...regardless, at least you're doing something healthy (lifting) and not just being a bum with excuses why u can't train.

I had great results doing low carb (around 30g per day), but my strength and energy dropped so much that I had to stop. I was doing like 800g carb refeeds every 7 days, but I just couldn't handle the lack of carbs lol. I'm doing around 240g carbs and ~65g fat per day now and it's giving me great energy levels, I'm losing about a lb. a week, and my strength isn't dropping at all. Wish I could do low carb, high fat again b/c BACON :dancingbacon:

    Too generic
..clean can be taken a few ways. Depends on the person ...some may say ita slower releasing carbohydrates; some may say unprocessed...too many variances.

I know high and low GI carbs play different roles and that "natural", less-processed stuff is probably better for you in the long run, but since I'm not doing anything professional, as long as I hit my carb, fat, and protein every day, I'm happy. I do try to incorporate as much raw, natural foods as possible (plain chicken, salad), but I'm not gonna try to choke down some fucking goat milk or gluten free lentils or anything lol.....fuck, I think Kodaik is rubbing off on me....

So what you're saying is...you can't define it specifically... so since you can't define clean, what is meant by the fad term "clean eating"

Everything I know about fitness/nutrition, I get from the internet lol....although, I do read extensively before I implement anything. The most radical think I've ever tried was keto, which, in its defense, did work; it's just not for me.

Exactly. I'd rather live to be 90 eating shit that tastes good, rather than living to be 100 and eating kale and mung beans lol

I've noticed that the ads at the bottom of this site change, depending on what thread you're on...right now, I'm seeing a carb-gainer powder, organic extra virgin coconut oil, a bodyfat tester, and a ceramic egg cooker. :spy:

Get out of here, NSA bastards!

EDIT: I'm officially a fucking retard and just realized that it says, "Products Discussed in this Thread"
