Unfortunately, you're right. I've lost about 8-10 lbs and my muscles are definitely void of water and I look like I've never picked up a weight before. Very demotivating lol

What's up everyone. Been sub'ed for a while. Finally got back on a routine this week, had a son 6 months ago that screwed up my routine. Pulled 400 for 2 this am, felt good to lift, but still don't have my strength 100% back

Weighed in today at 160 after subtracting "extras" and bf only up to 13%. That's 10 lbs of solid muscle gain and 5 fat in about 3-4 months

Well between 3 and 4 months I don't exactly remember but ya. I've been taking ON serious mass and just switched to ON mass gainer for the extra protiens. Also muscle tech creatine and for my pre something called dr.hyde
Plus after most workouts I take pure genesis vitamins and balancer.
My diet is about 3200-3500 cal.
    O ya and I'm 5'11" and 22

Yeah, I know. You're wiser than you look lol

Today, I'm introducing coffee and chicken back into the diet. It's gonna be boiled chicken, but after eating the shit I've eaten the past week, it's gonna taste like a damn t-bone steak. Still not gonna lift, though. I'm gonna be a sore ass niqqa next week.

10 lbs of muscle in 3-4 months? Is your ass sore from those bi-weekly test and deca pinnings? hate to burst your bubble, but you cannot gain that kind of muscle in that short period of time without "help." Now, there have been newbie's that can gain up to 17-18 lbs in a year, but that's still only a gain of ~2 lbs a month. After newbie gains, one can expect to put on 5 lbs (of muscle) a year, max. When lean bulking, I put on a lb a week, so in 2 months, I gain 8 lbs. Being lenient with it, I'd say that's probably 1 lb of muscle and 7 lbs of fat and water. Dirty bulking, I gain about 2 lbs a week, so 16 lbs in 2 months. Even with that, I've still only gained 1.5-2 lbs of muscle and a whole lot of fat (13-14 lbs).

Here's a good article on it:

    http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/ask-the-ripped-dude-how-much-muscle-can-i-put-on-naturally.html

That being said, you're still gaining, which is good!

I'm assuming that's probably less than 1% of the population though.
