I think all pre-workouts rely on the caffeine buzz, now that putting meth in them is frowned upon

It's acts like ephedrine and does stuff like increasing heart rate and other stuff....it can also kill you

Well with how many people here who know of assault and have tried it, I would say it's safer than some other, lesser known preworkout supplements.

    true
me too, I like researching what the fuck is in them, and as I start getting higher and higher in my chem major it's interesting to find out what the fuck is in this shit. haha

I guess now they're not as blatant with their "weird shit", like with the whole DMAA thing

I remember being in high school, starting with the old jack3d, showed it to my dad

"we use that shit on asthma kids, what the fuck is it doing in here?" haha

old animal paks used to have shark fin in it too

it's pretty good, and popular. Kinda think it's overhyped a bit because the whole ZOMG MUSCLEPHARM!!!!! FREE WRISTBAND!?!? thing

I used to like jym because of how simple it was

Yeah no doubt. Better safe than sorry though. I've worked in the supp industry (sales) and you wouldn't believe the number of people who came in and were taking all these crazy supps containing asthma medicine, amphetamines, even oral steroids, all with the consumer not knowing exactly what they are taking.

truer words have never been spoken

yup. We sell an oral steroid at our gym called Stenadrol-10 and we get 16-17 year olds coming to buy it all the time and my 1st three questions are:

    1. Are you done with puberty? If not, do you plan to jeopardize that with these pills?

    2. What's your PCT?

    3. What's your liver protector?

Never have I have any person under 20 be able to answer all 3 questions

pre's can help give you a little edge, but they're not really necessary

just start with some protein after your workouts until you get a good routine going

then you can look into pre's and whatnot, when you know what you want to do (IMHO)

I help coach my HS rifle team over summer

some of the kids talked about how the wrestlers and some football kids would take 8 SCOOPS of jack3d or "at east 3x the serving" of pre before their matches/games

went to go talk to the coaches because those stupid motherfuckers thought that was okay

Appreciate you looking out for the youth man
Unfortunately there are a lot of other people who just want to make a few quick bucks off these kids who don't know any better yet..

Yeah, I won't sell it to young dudes, but even people in their 20's and up usually don't know what they're getting themselves into with that shit; they're old enough to know better, so I sell it to them in a heartbeat lol. I've taken it once and the negatives just don't outweigh the positives for me. High blood pressure, liver damage, kidney pumps, fluctuation in hormones, etc. just aren't worth it to me.

Also, I'm not taking a full scoop. And I drink a ton of water. I can usually down a gallon before 2:00.

I don't understand why I can't stand more than 10 minutes in a sauna.. Even with a jug of cool water.

Ok, not literally stand.. I just can't seem to be in there for more than 10 minutes before I have to get out. It's awful.

Just kidding. I've only been in one once. I'm also from Georgia, so June-Sept makes a sauna look like the North Pole
