    Ok I got a video of me deadlifting 245 lbs today. Honest feedback/constructive criticism would be much appreciated! : )

    I also took this video after squatting 215 for 4 reps.

    Is it odd that I can go heavier on deadlifts? :confused:

    Also I feel like a fuggin BEAST after deadlifts. I can't explain it, my whole body just feels awesome, I feel solid, grounded. Can't really put it in words, I just feel awesome! :laugh: I think it's safe to say that deadlifts are now my favorite lift.

    Do y'all feel the same after deadlifts? Just curious

    Who was it that was saying they do sets at 12 10 8 6 increasing weight with each set? I tried it today and it seemed to do more for me. I definitely felt more pump. I increased weight today so it seemed like a good time to try the sets.

    generally people can dl more than they can squat
    i fucking love dls, now that ive learned to do them right and have a belt lol

    it looks like you could use a slightly lower hip position to get more hip drive. kinda the opposite of last time iirc lol
    itll help with the slight back rounding too

    we dl in exactly the same vibrams. haha

    X2. Bring your feet in a hair closer, and pull your hips down a bit in your start position. This will bring your knees forward slightly, drive them out as much as possible. As soon as you get the bar past your knees, concentrate on squeezing your hamstrings and glutes to drive the hips forward.

    Right now since I'm tryin to burn some BF%, I'm eating eggs, chicken, fish. That's about it.

    When I was finally able to get up to 156, I was eating anything and everything in sight. Usually around/over 4000 calories a day. And it still took me like 6 months to gain 9 lbs.

    I mean I'm mixing in some stuff. I'm just trying to stay low carb and eat a lot of protein so I can try to keep muscle so I don't look like a twig while I'm losing weight. And my carbs aren't really THAT low. I'm eating between 200-250 g protein, 60-70g fat, and 100-120g carbs, while staying around 2000-2200 calories. I've kind of plateaued, so I could take those numbers down some...or I might throw in some cardio. I'm done at the end of this month though. Then comes the quest to get up to 165.
