I was losing a couple pounds a week for the first few weeks, then it kinda slowed down. I've never really "tried" to lose weight before, honestly, so I wasn't sure how it would go. I'm really just trying to do it without starving myself.

I've debated getting up early in the mornigs to get some cardio or some light lifting in before work to get the metabolism working earlier. Then I remembered I like my sleep too much (he says as he types this at 1:45 am...).

Eh...My abs still aren't showing through like I want. I haven't worked them very hard...so that's my fault. But I'm more cut/vascular than I've been since high school.

Nothing like being pumped to go to the gym in the morning and having to stay home because my daughter woke up super early. Oh well, I'll have to try for tonight.

Alt grip yes, chalk no. Although I've considered it. At this moment I do deadlifts in our bonus room which is carpeted so I don't wanna muck it up too much with chalk. Were moving in 6 months though so I'll probably get a real gym membership then instead of the neighborhood rec

i've been doing lightweight cleans/jerks for volume as a cardio exercise the past week, also to break in my shoes

dont think theyre too taxing on the cns, and dont really think it'll be a problem- thoughts?

I'd think as long as you're not doing them 7 days a week, you'd be fine. I used to do clean and presses twice a week, once on leg day and once on shoulder day and it wasn't too bad....that was too much cardio for me though lol
