As for today's game, it should be good. I've always been an Auburn fan, and yes, I went there for a year before I joined up. However, base off out last 2 games I'm sure we'll give y'all about 100 yards due to our stupid and never ending penalties. Just hope I'm off work in time to watch some of it.

I'm always the small guy. Lol. 5'8" and up to like 155 now. Basically anyone that walks into the gym is bigger than me.

I'm the first one in my family to break the 6'0 barrier. We (as in my family) have never been a big people. Actually, I'm the biggest as far as we go. A few more months in the gym and I should be back to being a tad bit over 200lbs.

Most people think I weigh more than I do, so I guess that's a good thing. I guess.

So, that girl wants to go to the gym tomorrow. I asked her if she was a treadmill or a squat rack girl, she said she does a lot of bicycle and stair climber. Lol. Told her that was better than treadmill, but she needed to get in the rack. She said "Yea, I need to get on that...I never really know what to do, though."

I told her we'd go in the mornin and I'd help her out all I could, and that I'd spot her...then i sent her this...

With that logic though, even if FSU (or another non SEC team) slides into the NC game, if the other team is better, they should win then. The NC game isn't during the regular season like the conference championship game, so both teams have plenty of time to recover, no matter the toughness of their schedule. So both teams should enter the NC game ready to go. Then the better team comes out as the winner.

Problem is, people don't want to accept defeat and would rather blame something/someone, so they revert to the conference strength. What it boils down to though is wether "their" team showed up or not. That's what makes college football so entertaining. One bad day, or one good day for the other team, can cost you the season. Where in pro sports, a loss is easily overcame.

Either way, I enjoy the watching and cheering on, but after the team I am going for losses, I don't lose sleep over it. If I was actually a player on the team, I'd probably be more distraught though.

Plus I enjoy reading the local fishing forum when Alabama loses. Those fans will hem and haw about every other teams' lose, overflowing the forum with it. Then once Bama loses, it's like a ghost town. Plus I think one of the moderators is a Bama fan, b/c any thread making fun of bama losing gets deleted in about two hours.

To keep this post gym related, Crossfit sucks! :p

Hour or so post non direct arm training (trained back) ...my arms always seem to get a pump whether it be legs, chest, back, delts, w/ever.
Just began light squat work the other day...surgeon said i could begin light squats...it won't further damage anything, but if I go to hard, to quick....it'll prolong the expected one year full recovery.

I know how it is man. I'm stuck doing light shoulder work outs cause I'm still recovering. Can take up to a year to get full range of motion back. I love to work shoulders but I don't want to push it and reinjure my tendon so I just stick to light weight and work from there. I know I can push up more than what I'm doing now if I decide to ignore the pain but I'm not risking it.

Not a thing wrong with living home, especially when you're in school. Why throw money in the rent hole?

Paid $400 for my wife's rock..and yes it was legal.

Why is that on the shrugs?

I'm not getting huge on the numbers I'm doing anyway but I see some gain.

I started in July and after 2 months my friend saw me without a shirt out at a show. First thing she noticed was my shoulders.

I'm only up to 50 barbell, 20 dumbell, 25 leg lift but starting to see results.

I do treadmill 30-60 minutes and then weights. My main focus now is weight loss and secondary is leg strength to help with bad knees, before anyone calls me a bitch.

    Bench press..5 of 10
    Leg lift..5 of 10
    Barbell shrug..4 of 10
    Barbell curl..4 of 10
    Bent over row..4 of 10
    Leg curl..4 of 10.

Shrugs really have no point....there are so many more better and more effective exercises for shoulders/traps that add strength, as well as mass for the shoulders. If you're body building, shrugs have their place.

I dunno...I mean I love working out shoulders but I have a love/hate relationship with my legs, lol. And yeah, definitely have to keep the ego in check as well.

I wouldn't really stretch, more like warm-up. But, I do stretch throughout my work outs, like arm rotations (forward and backward) arms across the chest, toe touches (not the jumping kind, that's gay), quad stretches, etc. I mostly do warm-ups before lifting and stretching afterwards to prevent them from tightening up.

I do some light stretching with some PVC pipe and hang from the pull up bar. Nothin much. Just enough to get stuff a little looser before I start warming up.

Side lateral raises (S/S with OHP for variation)
    Front raises
    Overhead press
    Upright rows
    Face pulls

Those are a few. I do shrugs though too. I prefer to target them directly..,.crossfitters do not :stirthepot:
