    Sweet thanks!

I'm going to ask tomorrow while on duty see if we have something like this! If not we need one!

    Just picked it up thanks!

On a side note that one guy told me to eat around 250grams of protein a day, guess I need to start actually semi counting what I'm eating huh?

I just noticed my protein shake only has 24 grams in it (per serving)

It's mandatory for us to work out for at least an hour a day every shift. No exceptions (well unless the city is burning down).

My Lt. Is twice my size in muscle and we are competitive which is fun. He makes me push hard and I make him push hard.

Stick to unprocessed whole foods! Try to get at least your weight in protein is a good rule of thumb.... stick to lean meats as your main portion of your meals..... with your carbs stick to whole grains (brown rice, whole wheat bread, whole grain pastas, sweet potatoes...etc)... good fats ( natural peanut butter, egg yolks etc.) Best way to learn your current diet is to learn to read food labels...just remember 1g protein or 1g of carbs= 4 calories.....1g of fat = 9 calories... this is why controlling your fats are important and also watching the amount of carbs your take in.... carbs are good to a certain point ... if your body gets an over abundance then they get stored which leads to unwanted weight gain..... Research on google BMR (Basal metabolic rate) .... a good way to learn what your body needs for calories and you will learn how to adjust for your goals.... then you can find a macronutrient ratio that works best for you carbs/proteins/fats.... pretty common is 45/35/20 but to all their own... you have to learn your body. For example my body does alot better with fats than carbs.... Carbs make me extremely tired and tend to add unwanted body fat. Butttttt everyones body and metabolism is different.

Eh, I haven't really jumped on the Multivitamin bandwagon yet. I take Opti-men 3 times a day, but I do it cause I'm supposed to or so I hear. I'm not convinced enough to pay for the Animal-paks though that's for sure.

If on a PH get real liver support. If not, milk thistle should be fine for your basic vit tabs

How do you guy's make you carb's, such as rice and pasta whole grains of course, better? I'm eating either rice or pasta with a cut of chicken or turkey breast and it's just bland the veggies I've cooked up help it a little but not much. Would it be a bad idea to stir fry the rice with like an egg jap style?
