    heavy leg day

but this dude and chick jump on the platform next to me

they both start doing the shittiest deadlifts I've ever seen. the dude's a big dude
    but not muscular
    just large

he's "coaching" her on how to DL
    giving her really stupid cues
"make sure to tighten your calves when you're pulling" - doing sumo DLs
"raise your shoulders when you get to the top"

    then he's all
"wanna try something a little harder? theyre good for you though!"

starts trying to coach her on how to do cleans
dude doesn't even know how to hold a front rack
    he fucking tells her

"make sure you lean forward to catch the bar off the ground"
this chick is pulling with pretty much only her shoulders
she catches it looking like a <
    dude's like

    "Good!"

Very possible, I would never get wired off drinking soda..nobody believes it especially with the amount I was consuming.

I'm thinking maybe after 3-4 months on the Lean Burn my body may be getting used to it so perhaps I'm not getting the benefits of the weight loss..

Watched that a little bit ago.

Think I'm gonna start training calves 3-4 times a week. Been reading a lot of articles saying calves are one of the few muscles you can't really over train. Makes sense to me. And I have tiny calves, so I'm willing to try anything.

You cant realy "over train" them cuz your walking on them all day they are ment to recover quicklu however i wouldnt reccomend it. Because all thoes muscles in there like your gastrocnemious, anterior tib, and soleus muscles are gona get really tight if ur training em that much. If u are going to id say stretch em out atleast twice as much as you train them. U dont want tightness there itll fuckup your squat, give you shin splints, compartment sydrom, fuck with your dorsi and planter flexion of the ankle. Ask me how i know lol i had physical therapy on mine for like 2 years

Read an article the other day saying that seated calf raises are one of the best calf workouts because it focuses on the soleous muscle and it can push the calf muscle out which will help you to get bigger calves.

I do calves a few times a week. Sometimes more. Its normally something I do while waiting for a squat rack or a pull up bar to open. I have natural calves so its not something I really care about building, I just like how it feels.
