Aaron or any other cross fit member. Obviously, those who know me know cross fit is not my thing, but for those of you who are into cross fit try this:

    1 min run between 7-11mph
    1 min walk between 3-4mph
Alternate back and forth for 30-40 mins then do the following circuit:

    20 dead lifts
    20 hang cleans
    20 power clean and press
Repeat for 3 sets; resting 2-3mins between sets.

Holy shit 20 clean and press for 3 sets... After deadlift and hang cleans would be death. That's pretty long for a CF workout too. I may give it a go eventually though

20 anything is pretty hard core. While deployed I was doing 20 rep squats for a working set. Every week I would throw 10lbs on. It worked good, but started hacking it. So I recently went back to straight up box squats.

I think 20 deadlifts would destroy me. I guess that's the point, right.

I was doing something similar to this earlier this year. It was 20 minutes fast/slow cardio and 5 exercises at 20 reps then repeat after a 10 min cardio session. Kicked my ass every time.

Did shoulders today....I hate shoulder workouts. They seem to "ache" more than any other muscle group......anybody else have this issue?

    not bad...

IMO the intervals for the cardio are too long. ideally, avoiding the treadmill is ideal, only because it's simulated running, not real running. i'd also suggest some variation in the excercises.

not everything needs to be a power movement. also, in true crossfit one is performing against a clock. pre determind rest periods are not used. it's your overall time that counts and you work to beat that time each time you perform that routine.

often times people will set up a penatly for every minute that pases during the entire workout... like 5 burpees for every minute you spend working. it's great motivation to suck it up and finish before that last minute rolls around.

Me too bud....tore my right one back in 2002. And those steroid shots to the shoulder burn like Hell but really make it feel better. Due to the cuff issue, I still don't go as heavy & deep on bench press like I used to. ;)

ha ha :D...no behind the neck stuff for me either (lat pulls, presses, etc). Wait till you're 40+ years old like me.......At this point in my life, with a bad shoulder & knee.....all I want is to maintain size, growth dosen't even seem like an option. Wish I could start over at about 20.....I'd do alot of shit different. ;)

Ditto. Recently added some new movements to get that "rounded" look.
