i started as a 295lb blob, did nothing but lifting weights and dieting, cut down to 245 and bulked back up to 275, and started doing a steady cut where my weight stays the same but my muscle increase and bf decrease. working out well so far, only reason i do cardio now is for heart health.

It's pretty evenly split between cardio and bodyweight right now, but starting out was all about getting off of the couch/floor and just moving.

I started out biking and walking, I would walk 1-1.5 miles every evening, and bike 1 mile most evenings.

The biggest things will be diet change and walking to drop weight to the point where he can start BW exercises without injuring himself.

My trainers advice is to not put him on weight machines until he can push his own BW, it's the way she's training me also.

What's this app y'all use? I do it all on paper haha. Im assuming it's myfitnesspal. The only reason I like doing it on paper is because 99% of everything I buy is the knockoff Ingles brand and myfitnesspal doesn't have a lot of it. I do like that it tracks micros and sodium though. I might try tracking it on there tomorrow just to see what all they have that I eat

Yep. Myfitnesspal. You can scan the barcode and it will pull up the product if it's in the app. If it's not, you can always add it from looking at the Nutritional facts and just put the info in. Then it'll be there next time you eat it.

Awesome. I add the macros of everything I eat everyday, which is why I generally eat the same foods each day (so I don't have to count each day). I'm gonna play with it tomorrow because that'll save a lot of calculating time on days that I vier off from my regular diet. I try to stay as close to my macros as possible (usually 5-10 grams)

Where do I find these graphs or the programs for them?

Used a macro calculator and got:

    2241 CALORIES PER DAY

    Carbohydrate 247g 44.1%
    Protein. 173g 30.9%
    Fat. 62g. 25.0%

That's for totals per day with high protein, I'm thinking less carbs than that though

Haha no. I do 4 1 hr sessions

Today will be my first day in the gym this week. Since I only have 5 days left in the week, I'm gonna just do a 4 day split this week because my shit won't be recovered in time to do upper and lower body workouts twice this week. Haven't done a 4 day split in forever. Gonna do chestntris today

Also, I tracked my first meal on myfitnesspal. They recommended I eat 120g protein per day and I was like

    7538981eb039ba82d8b778f049442d23_6d9ad906c33a39dc43ba32c59e3feaa605c9cb6a.jpg

Moved that shit up to 212. Goal is 2428 calories, 212 g pro (35%), 273 g carbs (45%), 54 g fat (20%), which is about identical to my iifym goals
