When I do legs I take my time. Granted, the school has 5 or so squat racks. If someone asked to jump in I wouldn't care either as long as they are squatting close to the same weight.

Just wanted to give an update on this in case anyone is looking for a new workout. Been doing it for the past two weeks and been liking it a lot. Perfect amount of lifts per workout to fit in an hour with 15-20 min of cardio. I'll probably switch it up after a couple of months, but I'm liking the 8 or so sets on staple lifts (bench, squat, ect.). I definitely feel like I'm getting stronger.

Yeah squats I take my time, but this was the squat machine where you lay on your back. Not the same thing. Unfortunately there are only 2 squat racks at my gym, so I have to go early to get them done.

O yeah, guys are constantly on that in the uni gym, just chilling and texting. I never use it though so I don't care much. I have noticed a lot of people take squat racks for deadlifts. That pisses me off. The gym has 2 extra bars per squat rack and then a large open area that can be used. They are only there to watch themselves in the mirror. Since they set the bar directly behind the rack I just walk over the bar, grab an extra and use the rack. No one has said anything to me but they look like they are about to smash me in the head with a 45lb weight

that's like me man, when i workout it takes me 2-3 hours sometimes just on the squat rack, and i take 5-10 min breaks, but i always welcome people to work in with me, if they dont mind unloading and reloading like 8 plates everytime. but then again my gym has 4 squat racks.

Yeah but you actually lift a legitimate weight and do it right. I'd still be annoyed at you though. :p

Psh it's the night crew. It's crazy in there and every guy is doing arms or bench. I can't go at night unless it's after 9. I'd rather just skip a day than go at 6.

I have never been into bodybuilding type splits but I am going to give this a ride for a good year (without the $600/ month Biotest supplements they suggest) and see where I end up at. It will be interesting to see what kind of progress I can make while still surfing at least 4 times per week.

x2. I go around 10-11 am on my days off and 7-8 pm on work days. I like to get it in and get dafuq outta there

Shoulders tonight because I hit traffic and it was 7 when I finally got in the gym

    Dumbbell side raises: 3 sets of 10 @ 45, 40, 40 lb Dumbbells

    Dumbbell front raises: 3 sets of 10 @ 50, 45, 40 lb Dumbbells

    Straight arm cable pullovers: 3 sets of 10 @ 40, 50, 40 lbs

    Flat bench machine shrugs: 3 sets of 15, 12, 10 @ 360, 2 sets of 8, 7 @ 450

Here's the machine (I put my knees where your back would generally be for flat bench and shrug away)

Figured I'd change it up a little from traditional shrugs/trap raises

Wasn't quite that big, but 250 in April and should be 180. Bad knees on top of this.

I started treadmill and diet..rode a bike when I could too. When I got a few weeks on the treadmill I bought small hand weights and used them on there before I bought weights.

I got similar results, but couldn't meet my total calories by like 300 and couldn't meet the full protein. I need to get more protein, but I also don't do my own shopping or cooking. So I'm thinking I'll get a few supplements and need to start taking vitamins.

So much stupid at the gym today.

Roided up dude that never does legs decided to try to squat 405. Went down about 5", tried to go back up, got buried. Threw the weight and completely bent the bar, then acted like it was the bar's fault he couldn't lift it.

THEN he put 2 45s on the curl bar and did walking lunges. After his last rep he would just throw the bar off of him.

THEN...these guys I've never seen before were doing dumbbell bench. Almost saw them bust their faces with the 140s. They would move it about 2 inches, with a TON of help from his spotter. Then one of them dropped one of the Dumbbells and tried to hold onto the other one, and completely fell off the bench with it.

    It was all hilarious.

There are only 2 gyms in town. One is full of douche bags that claim they're natty, the other is full of old folks and people that don't take it too seriously. I go to the latter because I don't want to deal with the douchebags

2 weeks without booze and I feel amazing. Looking forward to this next year of 100% bodybuilding split. Time to get my physique back.

    No homo.
