Nothing much you can do, other than what you listed. Just gotta keep on training and it'll catch up. Most likely never be equal though.

Top of my skull the isolation is what I'd guess..sometimes on my leg lift and curl on my bench I try to just do one leg instead of both.

Went on a bachelor party Saturday, so today was my first day back in the gym since last Friday...I was still hungover yesterday lol. I officially made that my last weekend of partying. Sure, I'll have a few drinks from time to time, but I'm about to cut out the major partying and start getting more serious about my cut.

Our gym just got in "mystery flavor" C4 and I got to try it for free and it was good as hell; it tasted like pina colata. Of course, I had to take 1.5 scoops to feel anything and it was still a shitty boost. C4 is weak as hell. I haven't taken a pre in a few weeks and it still didn't do shit for me. My tops are still MP Assault and TSN Pump Igniter, but I'm about to order some of the new ON Platinum Pre and give it a try.

    Upper A:

wide grip pullups: 3 sets of 10, 9, 8 w/ 1 sec pause at top and bottom
    hammer strength pulldown machine: 2 sets of 10, 7 @ 270, 320 lbs
    cable crossovers: 3 sets of 13, 12, 10 w/ 1 sex pause at flex @ 70, 60, 50 lbs (that pause killed me)
    hammer strength chest press: 2 sets of 15 @ 180, 140 lbs
    seated military press: 3 sets of 10, 9, 8 @ 135
    dumbbell shrugs: 2 sets of 15, 12 w/ 95, 100 lb dumbbells
    triceps rope extension: 3 sets of 15, 12, 12 @ 150, 140, 130 lbs
    triceps rope pushdown: 3 sets of 10 @ 120, 110, 100 lbs (dropset)
    dumbbell curls: 3 sets of 15, 12, 10 w/ 35, 40, 50 lb dumbbells
    barbell curls: 3 sets of 10 @ 60, 50, 40 lbs (dropset)

I'm thinking about switching up my arm routine on upper days (as I did above). I plan on doing my 1 exercise for each arm group that I usually do, which is just 3 sets of 6-15, but then also doing a dropset or something similar immediately after with lighter weight.

I know some folks say to lower the volume on everything when doing an upper/lower split, compared to a traditional split, but I think I'm recovering fast enough to be able to do 2 arm workouts per muscle group per upper day (4 workouts per muscle group total for the week). My upper days are always at least 3 days apart, so I won't be hitting upper body again until at least Friday.

So, my upper days will look like this:

    chest: 3 sets of 6-15
    chest: 2 sets of 6-15
    back: 3 sets of 6-15
    back: 2 sets of 6-15
    shoulders: 3 sets of 6-15
shoiulders (traps): 2 sets of 6-15
    tri's: 3 sets of 6-15
    tri's: 3 sets of 6-10 dropset
    bi's: 3 sets of 6-15
    bi's: 3 sets of 6-10 dropset

    Thoughts?

What is your opinion on how well these guys move? No doubt they are strong as hell but every time my strength increases and I am putting on weight, my mobility/endurance takes a big hit. I have trained strongman style before and that helped but everything was always tight and I sucked at doing anything else (surf, swim, sprint, climb, get off the couch).

you can't be a powerlifter and not have mobility. cardio wise these lighter weight class guys are a lot better than some of these heavy weights.

sorry, not hip mobility or being able to move in one plane but being able to jump, squat, crawl, swim, fight....moving in all directions.

Don't get me wrong. I like to lift as heavy as possible but I also like to be able to destroy any activity in life that comes up.

haha ya. I love crossfit. My bros and I all get together and wear the shortest shorts we can find then bash our balls against barbells all day long.

Must not be much else to do besides lift in your neck of the woods.

Tons of stuff to do other than lift. I don't even lift haha.

If you want strength but still retain your athleticism I suggest following a olympic routine. When its warm enough I'll be dragging the bumpers out again and pounding snatches like no tomorrow.
