:anonymous: Amy says she thinks it's a fracture. I think it's a sprain. We'll find out tomorrow. I guess I'm not the athlete I used to be. Time to hang up the old hopes and dreams lol

Nice. I have no idea what my starting lifts were.
I actually am doing some training and nutrition on the side for some people and it has helped me dial in myself so much more.

You're 26 man....plenty of years left in you!
When you get to be an old bastard like me.....well, then you need to step it up considerably just to maintain what you currently have. Enjoy it while you can

Bill Starr passed away a couple days ago. For those of you who don't know who he is, lets just say he is the reason every high school football team focuses on the big 3 and why we have the 5x5 program.

Interesting how what worked 40 years ago, still works today.

So true. We lived by his 5x5 training back in the high school football days.

the downside to going to the uni gym are the frat boys who are so fucking brotard in the gym

they were in the squat rack doing the shittiest BORs I've ever seen, w/225
they'd drop the bar onto the safety bars, from standing lockout

    like a fucking foot

the BOR looked like a fucked up squat+DL+air fuck+row

"Don't worry about form at this high weight. Just focus on moving the bar and not hurting yourself"

    what
