See that 2 years makes all the difference :). I can't complain since I shouldn't have lived to see 30 though

I'm off to the gym in 30 mins to do legs, shoulders, & traps. If I have time I'm going to have some more fun with cable flys(I dig those!)

So my roommate has had pizza for the past week or so. Every time I come home there is a new frozen pizza box on the floor. He also doesn't know how to cook so it burns 90% of the time and the house gets smoky. I thought he was done after pizza #4 or so...but then he brought out dominoes . There are two new pizzas in the freezer soooo I guess it will continue.

Thats basically where my room mate is at, he is like 145 and skin and bones. But he as set his goals on eating well, and wants to get bigger and more defined, just as some work to do as the guy at the nutrition place put it. Compared to myself (we are basically the same height) at about 187 with a bigger build and certainly more body fat. So while hes just trying to add weight, im trying to burn off one kind replace it with another. I know that if I was actually in shape I should be able to lift way more for my body weight  I started seriously working out again about 3 months ago after finally recovering from a broken wrist that was a nuisance since summer

Also I hate those dividers between the trampolines. I have messed up my ankle landing on those so many damn times

I can't do treadmills, dunno why

I can do the miles outside easy, but can't fucking stand to run in place for more than 10 minutes

    that's a great time though

Oh man I can't either. I get so bored. The first mile is hell and I can't wait for it to stop, then for some reason it just seems to get easier after I get warmed up lol. But I don't uaually go over 20 min, because it's so boring.

Well...been on a diet for about two years now slowly shedding weight (-30lbs). Cut out fried food, then sodas, and now mostly all foods with added sugar. So far I've gone from more of a powerlifter body (235lbs) to what I hope is a more natural looking Frank Zane-ish body(205ish). It's amazing how much diet plays a part in lifting (I've only lost about 100lbs off my big three lifts from 1400+ to 1300+). Yeah still got some belly fat, but I blame that on my age (born in the 70's and cheat days).

Thanks to all for the tidbits I've been able to glean from this thread.

Severe sprain…I'm just glad it's not broken. Gotta wear a boot for a few weeks. I'm still gonna try to do legs tomorrow. I think I can do the machines, just no leg press, squats, or deadlifts.

Holy shit, Forrest Gump. That's some fast running. I do next to no cardio, but I'd think running on a treadmill would give you a faster time because it doesn't change in elevation, terrain, etc.

I think diet is 90% of it. Lifting is easy. Eating right is next to impossible lol. I was off all last week and pretty much ate like crap the entire time Friday and yesterday. I always fuck up on the weekends. I take 5 steps forwards and 2 steps back every week lol.
