Summers here, empty gym, killin legs.

 

Gonna be a bad weekend. House sitting for a friend, got a lady friend comin to visit. Gonna be ordering pizza, drinking beer. Then when he gets back tomorrow, we're gonna be drinking more beer. Then one of the girls that "helped me" get over my breakup last October is back in town...and she's comin over Monday. To drink beer/whatever else is available. Hoping to get enough "cardio" in to offset all the beer and pizza

 

Doing heavy deads and squats before moving big, heavy, awkward boxes wasn't the best idea.

 

I work at a furniture store. It never fails, when I do heavy deads/squats, I end up picking up the heaviest sofas we have or pulling a big ass refrigerator up the hill from the basement to put on the floor. Not to mention climbing the stairs. I literally claimed 26 flights of stairs a couple days ago just from running around waiting on customers.

 

Beer is great for post workout. Doesn't mix well with protein shakes though.

 

Well it bothers me, because my grandpa was there.

Luckily, they pulled it sometime today so I won't have to see anyone wearing it.

And no, its no where near swole broham lincoln.

 

See if you can hit up some sexercise there haha

 

Went up on the weights today.

Bench press/shrug/barbell curl 60 to 70

Leg lift and curl 30 to 35

Bent over row 25 to 30

Hammer curl and dumbbell raise 20 to 25

Could barely curl the bar 10 times but felt so damn good....

Question..is there an advantage to using the bent curl bar over a regular straight bar for curls? Same for a tricep bar versus doing both arms simultaneously on hammers..

 

ez bars help with the wrist angle through the movement, lets you open up the biceps for a little more natural movement and lets you have an inner/outer grip

i like them for curls over straight bars

 

Not sure how its different. Both are "mocking" history. To each their own but regardless it was cool your grandfather was in it. The amount of hate it stirred up is a bit ridiculous. I wish I had bought one now so I could eBay it in a week.

Sounds like my weekend. We had our 2nd annual beer olympics yesterday…I drank about 30 Michelob Ultra's lol. Grilling out some steaks today

I didn't like the shirt, but it's their right to do whatever the hell they want.

 

The donuts are calling and I must go.
