Sux man sorry to hear it...I was in your hood recently. Have family living on the south end of Livermore (relatively close I guess)...seemed like a half decent area, even if not my style of living.

I'm guessing your ride was insured...??? Do you have any other types of coverage that may help?

Thought about a gofundme type deal?

I had to look up what that is...I'd try it. Hell, I've eaten a fried bull testicle...can't be too much worse than that haha

dang. When is the meet? We should do a TW go fund me!

it's not so much the taste as it is the texture. It's like swallowing a shot glass full of snot

Yeah, if it's like a month or so away, we could get enough people in in time for you to be able to order all your shit and it get here.

I used to do that, but that's just one of the few foods I get tired of after time. I like cottage cheese, but I get burnt out on it too easily. I'm more of a Greek yogurt man

I think he said next week. So, we may not meet the full $865 but, maybe enough to get the essential stuff...???

I've got a spare gym bag (don't do the gym). It's a cheap NRA bag & I'd do some $ too.

    Eric...

Why not just go and compete? So what if you don't have your gear and shit... You can still lift without it. Go there, FUCK SHIT UP, walk out... proud... maybe a sponsor will pick you up.

I am actually working with young athletes here and paying their meet entrance fees/etc.

If I was in your area, I would hook you up. How much are you out as far as the entrance fee?

    He said $120 in fees.

    Lost $865 in equipment.

I'm thinking he'll get some assist if he wants it...

That shit sucks Eric. I say go and compete, maybe even borrow some gear if you have to. Don't let some piece of shit get in the way of what you want to do.

Just maxed on chest, and got what I wanted 350!. Warmed up 135x8, 225x3 295x1 and just said fuck it and knockedd out 350. Came down easy and got a little stuck at the lockout but pushed through it. Used those 1rpm calculators and they estimated me to do 345-360 so I'm happy with what I got.

Funny but I'm missing the Greek yogurt/cottage cheese relevance?

The meet is August 1st and ive been trying to prep but I kept getting hurt just when my back was getting better this happens
Thanks guys ill have to look it up on hiw go fund me works.
At this point ive giving up breaking PRs im just gonna go compete raw as raw can be and help other lifters at the meet

Thanks I have another older bag I can use, im trying to sell some stuff in the house to get some funds for a singlet and some mobility stuff.
I always trained with gear so to do a meet unprepared without gear is scary, but I think im gonna go anyways.
Yeah meet entry is 75 plus 25 per class (open and jr)

Im hate to ask for money because there are those who are less fortunate but if I can just get a little for me at least get a belt I'd be forever thankful.

Yeah seeing you guys post I will compete for sure even if I don't metal.
