Thank you guys so much i can't believe im up 175 bucks already. I've ordered the 13mm competition lever belt from lifting large, looks pretty similar to the inzer and 45 dollars cheaper, also it shipped fast, really fast i should be able to get it tomorrow according to tracking.

Also cleaning my car this morning other than the clutter those thieves left in the car i found the skeleton they they used to unlock the car, it's snapped in half so i can only assume they broke it trying to open my trunk lock inside the car.

On a side note, since my back has been injured my bench has gone way up, repped out 315x6 pretty easy, should be able to hit 370 at the meet.

Rofl, why are you so mad?

I have absolutely nothing to prove to you. Why are you assuming I drink $70/gallon egg whites? I buy them in bulk at costco. When I break it down, they cost me exactly 10 dollars per gallon. I don't need some fruity flavor, so I don't have to spend 7x that on gimmicks.

    Stay with me now...

I said I do fasted cardio, but I guess technically I don't because I have nothing but protein before I lift. Not technically fasted but it's only for a minor effect on insulin so im still burning glycogen and ketones. If I eat carbs before I train, I get sluggish.

My typical TRAINING day looks like this:

Wake up, Drink 16oz eggwhites. Goto work, get off, drink 16 more oz eggwhites. Then I go train.

After I train I'll have whatever I want. The last time I trained was over a week ago because I was on vacation but after that work out I stopped at an Asian place and got sesame chicken with some white rice and extra chicken, a spicy tuna sushi roll and a regular coke.

Then after that I'll usually have 16oz eggwhites later on with either some waffles, bananas, etc.

Then I'll have another 16oz with some cereal, candy, etc. I shoot for 1k carbs on training days. I might not get it, but I always hit at least 500g.

If I feel like it I'll have a small bowl of ice cream before bed, too.

I don't eat cheeseburgers all day, and I never bragged about it. I've put my money where my mouth is. I've posted pics of a PWO meal as well as pics of me.

Accusing me of steroids is just asinine, and back acne? That's called freckles from the sun. My skin is perfect.

As far as my business being lucrative, well, it keeps my fridge stocked with egg whites, pays for my mortgage, 2 personal vehicles, gym membership, etc. I have nothing to prove to you bro. I'm shredded, if you wanna argue, go argue with someone who's not shredded and saying these things. I've got shit to prove to you.

Just because my philosophy of diet and training is different than yours doesn't make me a troll, and no where did I ever say I was a bad ass for drinking egg whites out the carton...it's just what I do.

Quote this, say whatever u gotta say, but what I do works for me and that all I care about. I'm done responding to you.

Maybe you should GTFO of here and go grow some lats homie.

Lol, so now the 'dad bod' is caused by having children...if we remember, the 'dad bod' came about from a college girl writing a paper on how she thought out-of-shape college kids epitomized the dad bod because it showed that they didn't take themselves too seriously and know how to have a good time and it kept fat girls from feeling bad about themselves...now, they're blaming it on having kids. Sounds like another excuse to not exercise to me. Now, middle-aged dudes (along with college kids) are going to be like, "welp, it's science. I can stay fat."

There's Science Behind the Dad Bod

U DA MAN on the work out!

I saw the "dad bod" shit on some "news" channel recently and thought to myself, it's funny how people's taste evolve. I don't know, is it because that's what they see and have to choose from so they justify it???

But, ya with the way a lot of people are it'll let them slack.

Without medical advancement our life span (at least in the US) would be decreasing...I bet.

I think it started out from some fat chick who said she was attracted to fat guys because fit guys intimidate her. That evolved into guys thinking they didn't have to workout because there are girls out there who like the out-of-shape look. Girls who workout probably don't like the out-of-shape look, though. You get a girl who squats and lifts regularly and I can guarantee you she's not going to think some chubby kid is attractive. Fat girls are gonna like fat guys because it makes them feel better about themselves for being out of shape. If I went home and told my fiancee I was done lifting and was just gonna get tubby, she'd probably have some choice words for me. It sounds harsh, but it's true.

    Right right...

At least it doesn't say it's good.

It does sound harsh and I'm all about married people treating each other with respect & staying married but, damn man I couldn't blame the future wifey too much.

I'm struggling this morning (and I hate it). Most days, like 99.9% of the time, I wake up and I'm bouncing off the walls so I work out first thing & still have plenty of energy. Today not so much...didn't wanna get outta bed & don't wanna get my fat ass of the couch now. And it's my "Sunday" so it's back to work tomorrow and I've got other shit to do.

Yeah, well she was with me when I weighed 140 lbs, but now we're both in decent shape and I know she doesn't want me going back to looking like a twig just as much as she doesn't want me turning into a fatass. Same with me...she in much better shape now than when we started dating and I'd stay with her either way, but we look better and our quality of life is better, so we both push one another to get fitter and fitter and, as a result, everyone wins: we both look better and we're healthier. The problem is that these people are too lazy to do anything, so they say, "well, I think the dad bod is hot." If they got in to the gym and got fit themselves, the fit folks would think they're attractive and they wouldn't have to settle for the fat kid. Again, it all sounds harsh, but that's generally the way it is. Sure, there are exceptions, but for the most part, people go for someone who are in the same shape as them, just like people go for people who are equally as attractive as them.

Sorry for the long posts...it's been a slow few days at work lol

was that a long post?...pretty short by your usual standards...

I agree - people are complacent so the 'dad bod' becomes attractive because they have no motivation to be any better than that. If they started lifting and getting trimmer and leaner they would look back at their dad bod days and say 'what was I thinking?'...the same way I do when I look back at my high school/early college pics of me being 140lbs without an ounce of muscle and thinking it was cool to have blonde streaks in my hair while I wore two different colored collared shirts with both collars popped at the same time...it's all a fad. We are just ahead of the game right now :humble:

But my wife dated me back then too and even said yes to marry me before I began my fitness journey and now she is reaping the rewards that I present to her now

x2. When we started dating in 2009, she was at her chunkiest (not fat, but she definitely gained the freshman 15 lol) and I was a toothpick. After a year or so of dating, we joined the gym and haven't looked back since.

Looks like our boy Eric is stuck at $175 on his GFM page...good job on spreading the word Zach.

Kinda wonder now, if time permitted, if that little bit of cash would have worked better as seed money on a TW raffle or something similar.

    50 & closer to 51...

I got it done and started feeling better during. I can count the times I've felt that way on one hand over the past 5 years man. I'm like that dry cell battery. Runs good until it dies then I'm out. I'm wide awake normally from about 6:30a to midnight. I even feel asleep early last night...

Me post work out today. Now yall know why I have some work to do...I'm rockin the "grand paw" bod. :) tru (recent GP but still)

Thanks man. Even though I'm way into it, the compliment provides encouragement.

I'm a newb at the fitness game. I used to bike like a bad habit, like 175 to 200 miles a week rain or shine for years but, never followed my nutrition.

Had a couple life events that caused a change in my pattern and finally decided I needed to pay attention to my health.

Around Christmas of 2014 I completely changed what I ate/eat and dropped some fat. Then during this past spring began a weight training & cardio program. I think I'm pretty healthy. My BP is decent (typical 115/65) resting pulse ok (60ish) and all my annual routine blood work/cbc all come back in the good range.

I wish now that I'd paid more attention to my health at a younger age even tho I've had zero issues other than injury type events...my concern is as I continue to age. So getting and staying fit is now a top priority for me and as such (just like saving for retirement), it's the first thing I do every day...pay myself first physically.

Now if I could just break the Grizzly/Copenhagen habit...really.
