Sit on a bench and do leg extensions with them? Wall sits are also good

I tried that, the bench is too low for a good range of motion since the db hangs. wall sits sound fun! thanks

Thanks Zachary. Good info. That's sort of what I've been doing. I have a squat rack so that helps...

I'm going to try leg extensions on my jump box.. That's a little higher than my bench.

BTW that guy Scooby is yoked... Lol

I did all compound stuff a few days ago. I'll probably stick with isolation stuff today, then maybe throw in some light deadlifts. Might run a mile through downtown first...that way I can't make the excuse that I just did legs so I shouldn't have to do cardio :anonymous:

So, I've been wearing some cheap Nikes (on sale for $35 at the outlet malls) for a while now. Since I've actually been doing cardio for the last couple months, I've realized why people pay good money for a pair of shoes. These cheap Nikes are killing my feet when I run. Last night I decided to buy a pair of Brooks. Ran a mile after my workout and my feet felt like they were in heaven. SO much better than the Nikes. The lady watched me walk (without shoes) and determined what kind of shoe I needed. Crazy how much better it feels now.

I'm starting to look the same way with no isolation equipment.. The only thing I miss about the gym

My fiancee is all about Brooks. I thought it was hocus pocus until you said that...she said they let her walk and run barfooted and gave her the 'perfect' shoe and she says it's like running on clouds. Of course, I'll never admit she was right :spy:

I feel like my legs are disproportional to my upper body. My legs are stronger than 90% of the people in my gym and probably bigger than 90% of them, too, but I feel they have no definition at all. When I wear shorts above my knees, I feel like I look like one of the 'I skipped leg day' crew. But when I lift, I can put up good numbers and my legs are bigger than most of my fellow gym-goers. I guess I'm comparing mine to Jordan's lol. #hatemylegs

Don't tell her, but yea, she's right. She brought me out 4 brands, Mizuno, new balance, brooks, and soq-something or other. As soon as I put these on I said "I think this is it..." Then I walked around and thought "daaaamn..."

Brooks were my first real running shoe. They have since bit the dust. Good for running but bad for the gym, at least on leg day. The best shoe I have found for everything all around, running and lifting is the New Balance Minimus. They have 0 arch and keep your foot pretty flat. Another shoe that is similar is the Altra but they have an uber wide toe space that looks like a platypus foot.

These are all i wear, there okay for running but i dont run more than a mile ir two berry often. but i have a crazzy small foot thats extremly wide and these have hugeee toe boxes on them i cant wear nikes cuz they are too narrow. I do have a pair of brookes for when im running more than 5 miles, so they barley get used haha

Id like to try the new nike metcon but if they follow nikes narrow shoe trend it aint gona work

I was telling Amy about it and hers are Newton's, not Brooks; she loves them though...I don't run, so I wear nike's baby!

I'm a Nike free run guy. Those things are light and flexible as hell it's like wearing a slipper. I squat and deadlift barefoot so they're my all around shoe.

Did back today and started of with Deads. First time I've seriously done them since winter.
    135x10, 225x5 315x5, 365x8, 385x5, 405x3, and 455x1. Then did various rows and other back shit.

Going to be a rude awakening tomorrow:anonymous:
