I forgot how much I hate doing bench for reps. Or pyramids. I've been doing sets of 3-5 for so long, figured I'd switch it up every other chest day. Today I did flat bench pyramids.

    155 x 10
    185 x 8
    215 x 6
    245 x 4
    275 x 2

Then worked back down to 155 X 10.

Followed by weighted dips, drop sets of dumbbell incline (75s drop to 45), push downs, low to high cable flies, close grip dumbbell press, and close grip push ups.

My chest and tris are smoked.

Guess so. Bis/tris one day, shoulders the next, then repeat. Should only be down for two weeks really. Ill do things like bench as I don't think it would aggravate the wound area. Let me just tell you guys, packing the wound is the trickiest thing I have tried to do. I am glad I am slightly flexible :p.

    Anyone have a Fitbit?

Deciding between Charge HR and Surge (the watch). What's the reall difference other than $100?

My work reimburses up to $300 for some fitness stuff and those are on the list. Weight stuff isn't, I've already bitched a couple of times..so basically it would end up being free either way I just have to front the money.

Anyone know about "Advocare" products? They advertise them as better and all that

I've got the surge. I like it because when I run outside, it has GPS and maps my run. I use it for every workout to track my time and heart rate.

I know it's a big pyramid scheme and every female around here sells it and I make fun of them all. They do well to advertise to the people that aren't active. Then those people are amazed when they do the "24 day challenge" that they actually lost weight, when all they really did was change their diet and finally get off their butts for once. But they don't realize that, and they decide that advocare is the miracle drug that made them lose weight.

Edit: I'm sure some of their stuff is OK, but I think most of it is BS.

A little less than a year. Only problem I've had is when the battery gets really low, the GPS gets inaccurate. Other than that, it's been fine.

I mean, we're a HUGE tourist trap. I don't really know what everyone comes to see, but apparently there's something worth coming for. Downtown is mostly women's boutiques, with 4 or 5 bars scattered around. Maybe a couple of "outdoors stores". I'd say 90% of people that come here go to Mercier apple orchards. I don't know why. It's just fruit. But whatever. There are literally tour buses that stop there. How long are you going to be in town?
