So I grabbed another animal pak since my diet's been pretty shit lately because of all the studying
animal apparently adds wristbands to their stuff now

put it on because i'm a poser when I realized, something about this armband.......

it absorbed the animal pak smell
mixed it with the rubber smell

And it smells like costco chicken
something about this thing smells like fragrant, glorious chicken

idk what they're trying to do here, but it's working

    What's up fitness thread?

    New guy here.

I just started doing Crossfit like 3 weeks ago and haven't gained any size yet. I'm drinking like 6 protein shakes a day, but nothing helps. Do you think I should stack it with creatine or is creatine liver toxic?

haha well law school has had its perks and downsides for my fitness goals. I left TW the week before my wedding, which was about 3 weeks into my semester. After I got back from Mexico, I decided not to catch up on TW and stay away until my semester ended, which was yesterday. I never even came to read anything! I ended up having to start taking 2 days off of work per week because the amount of shit we have to read is ridiculous. I think, since Aug to now, the most I've made it into the gym is 3 days, which has been my goal. 4 days is just impossible during the semester. Sadly, I had a couple 2 gym day weeks, too, but no more than 3. Of course, I've been bulking since it's winter and school has really helped my diet because I'm not going out and getting trashed all weekend. For my sanity, I usually take Saturday afternoon and eat/drink what I want, but I definitely had to give up the partying on the weekends for the most part. Being at home, school, or work all day allowed me to keep my diet on point.

TLDR: gym time went down to 3 days a week and diet has been close to perfect due to school.

I've pretty much kept up with my upper/lower, but with a spin:

    week 1: upper/lower/upper
    week 2: lower/upper/lower
    week 3: upper/lower/upper
    week 4: lower/upper/lower
every 5th week, I'll do a traditional split week (chest/tri's, back/bi's, legs/shoulders). I missed destroying the fuck outta my muscles and that awesome feeling of DOMS, so I incorporated that back into the mix, so now I get the best of both worlds: the awesome gains I get from hitting everything twice a week, plus the great feeling of really breaking down the muscle once a month.

Now for the part where the fat jokes can fly: I left TW the second week in Sept at 179,~11% bf, and a size 32 and right now I'm 202 and probably 13-15%, and a size 34. My clean bulk lasted about 4 days lol. I just like results too much, so I upped my calories from a 250 calorie surplus to (at one point) 750 calorie surplus. Now that I got my gains going, I'm at a modest 500 calorie surplus gaining about .75 lbs a week. My goal is to get to 210, but I think if I really put my mind to it and say my prayers and eat my vitamins, I can get up to 215-220. Ultimate goal is to lean out at around 200 for summer.

Supps: ON Gold Standard whey strawberry (tastes like strawberry yoo-hoo) & Pre Jym, which is amazing, but the scoops are HUGE

Diet: 3350 calories, ~300 g protein, ~400 g carbs, and ~70 g fat (I'll post my entire diet if anyone's interested) I know that much protein isn't necessary, but my favorite foods are proteins, so I'd rather stuff my face with that than shit I don't like, since my carbs are high enough already

    Pre-bulk #'s:

    squat: 330
    bench: 315
    deadlift: 405
    Total: 1020

    Now:

    squat: 340
    bench: 330
    deadlift: 435
    Total: 1105
