lol those things are TERRIBLE for your organs. Why do you think women stopped wearing corsets in the 1800's? That'd be like me going and buying a size 30 pants and trying to stuff my fatass into them; it's uncomfortable and pushes my intestines out my asshole. The best waist trainer is a good diet and exercise

    Saw that on FB. Nice!

I cycle between delicious strawberry, banana creme, and chocolate extreme. Love all 3

at that price, I'd try it, too. Worst case scenario, you're stuck with 10 lbs of laxative that tastes like shit

Worked out last night for the first time after a week of being sick. Lost some strength but not too much. Feltgoodman.jpg

Amy's cousin from Huntington Beach flew in last night and is staying through the New Year, so I know it's gonna be an unproductive week. Last night, we ate Mexican and we had a few pitchers of margaritas. My meal wasn't bad: grilled fish and crab with rice. I feel bad for what my liver is going to endure tomorrow night. He works out, but he's more of the dad bod/planet fitness type and he is gonna do upper body with me today...he has no idea lol

    Good work man,
The biggest hurdle for the 225 challenge is never that of strength but that of the mental drive to overcome the burn, the pump and the pain. You have some solid numbers over all so good job and keep going hard!

Im personally back at the gym and on track after gaining some weight over december. Time now for me to keep my weight gain and push it to the max. Since my knee is still Fubar'd ill have to focus more on Hammy and glute based leg work outs with 1/4 light quad stuff. It sucks BADLY but what can i do. id love to gain 10 pounds back in my legs and get my damn OS back in my left leg.

Not gonna start drinking until I hit my marcos for the day and then it's Evan Williams and Coke Zero for me...60 cals per drink. There will probably be some tequila/Fireball shots in the mix, too lol. I'm also going to try to drink a water between each alcoholic drink, but I literally say that every time I drink and it's never happened lol. Probably just gonna go buy 3-4 Gatorade's to chug before bed so I can hit the gym in the AM.

    You?

I read a thing by the founder of LeanGains who said he did and read some studies that said the 'alcohol ruins gains' thing is complete b/s. As long as you're not an alcoholic or anything, drinking once a week or so is fine. What kills people is when they start eating like shit when they're drunk/hungover, which is why I always try to get as full as possible before drinking

EDIT: here's the article: The Truth About Alcohol, Fat Loss, and Muscle

Staying hydrated on a day where I know i'm in for a wild night is always a great idea! And i'm usually one of those at the party who will be having a glass of water in between drinks as well. It really does help the next morning. As much as I like drinking, I can't remember any night that is worth the hangover. Hangovers are the worst man. I've never heard the 3-4 gatorades before bed idea.. That sounds like a good idea, too!

I do believe what you're saying about the BS of 'alcohol ruining gains' though. I don't drink much during the week and if I do drink on the weekend I only drink enough to get me buzzed anyway.. So I try not to think about it and just enjoy my night.

Yeah, I'm to the point now where hangovers are getting harder and harder to deal with, so I've slowed down considerably. The past 3-4 years, I was a party animal though. When I was 21, I could drink 20-30 beers and wake up the next day, kill a workout, and party again that night. Now, 10 beers or so takes a full day to recover from. I've already accepted tomorrow's hangover as an inevitability lol

The gal and I went a bit crazy with some old army buddies of mine on the 29th so my night will probably be a little tame. My guess is I will start with a moscow mule or two and then transition to a nice easy to drink beer like Alaskan Amber. Ill avoid shots like the plague and probably head home shortly after the midnight kiss.

Hahaha I will also be avoiding shots like the plague! Well said!

I just know my best friend tomorrow morning will be a good cup of joe with an aspirin!

You were laying at the bottom of the stairs

Oh, and in the car, looking like you were about to pass out at any second. Hahahaha.

    It was quite hilarious.

Yeah, that was the same night. Amy has video of me in the kitchen challenging her dad (my father-in-law) to a water chugging contest and confessing my love for Willie Nelson...it was a rough night.
