    There's a girl at my gym that looks just like #1...tattoos and all. I thought it was her at first. Her bodyfat isn't quite that low though. Major hoe fa sho doe

    What do you gym bruhs think about working out with a cold? This says it's usually okay if the cold isn't severe and you're not doing anything super-intense. Excerpts:

    - there was shown to be no significant difference in symptom severity or duration in the exercise group or in their inactive counterparts.

    - The study revealed that exercising at a moderate intensity level does not intensify cold symptoms or compromise the immune system. It seems that a moderate level of intensity is not enough to alter immune response.

    - high intensity exercise such as heavy weight lifting or high intensity aerobic training has been shown to have a negative impact on the immune system during a cold or any respiratory infection.

    I ask because, as of yesterday, I have what I've self-diagnosed as a cold. I've got the runny nose, congestion, sinus pressure, and very slight aches. I've been hopped up on dayquil, so the only thing that's bugging me is the congestion. I want to go to the gym this afternoon and just do some shoulders or something, so I don't have to go Sunday. I think I'm gonna do it. It's not like I'm going in to pound legs for an hour and a half.

    I force myself to workout when I get sick. Unless it's a sick where things are uncontrollable shooting out of any of my holes...

    I always feel 100% better after a workout and hot shower than before. It's natures medicine. Cavemen never got sick because they picked up heavy stones over their head. It's proven fact

    I'll go but I'll definitely tone down the workout a little. Either by weight or volume. Haven't noticed a difference between when I go or stay home and rest on my cold/ sickness recovery

    For common 'colds' like that I have always had the mindset of sweating it out. Before I got into the gym I would go to bed wearing sweats, a hoodie, and thick socks and wake up drenched but always feeling better. Now I sweat it out in the gym. Sometimes I still have to sleep that night in the cocoon but either way just SWEAT and get it out

    This is exactly what I wanted to hear. I'm gonna double the scoops on preworkout and get in there and fuck some shit up! I'm just doing shoulders, which is like a 30 min workout and I don't go too incredibly heavy on shoulders anyway (max weight is maybe ~200 lbs on military press, but I'll probably skip that today), so I think I should be good.

    This girl is hot, but she's such a hoe. I've known her forever. She's also literally probably one of the stupidest people I've ever met....and I NEVER use the word literally.     Gotta let them wonder for a day! I always used to bundle up and go for a run if I was sick, something about sweating like fuck just makes me feel so much better afterwards.

    There's one of those in my hometown, her nickname was mattress because everyone slept with her hahahah.

    That's what I doon vacation when I've had a really long night. Nothing makes the hangover go away like a run on the beach.

    We have all our parties at a friend's house and she used to hang around there about a year ago. It wasn't a surprise for her to disappear for hours at a time with different dudes. She doesn't come around anymore lol...
