Cheat on your girlfriends not on your workouts... I definitely try not to bounce. I do pause reps to help me with that.

Get a spotter. Or try to take a nap and recover and try again when you wake up.

At 5'9", I usually fluctuate between 170 and 190 depending on what type of training I am doing. I actually like the lighter weight but don't look like I lift in clothes....just vascular as hell.

Just go home and rest man. Eat some pho! The more time you give your body to rest, the quicker you'll be back in the gym.

No idea what pho is but I am going home to rest. Lol. It was just a little bit of a sore throat but it got worse as I was squatting and deadlifting. But I've got a meeting about an internship tonight, as well as work and an exam tomorrow and a speech Wednesday. So by "going home to rest" I mean "going home to do homework and study" lmao

Pho is Vietnamese noodle soup. It cures everything. I would take the next few days off from the gym til you feel better.

Yea, I'm not planning on working out for the next few days. Might try that soup though. I'm sure I can find a recipe somewhere.

Or just find a local Vietnamese joint. It'll help with your sore throat I promise.

    Eating some right now. Lmao

Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure there's a Vietnamese restaurant less than a block from my apartment.

Hell yeah! I eat one every morning! I switch between Smores, chocolate fudge, and strawberry.

Yeah, bouncing displeases the lifting Gods. On incline, I just stop right at a 90 degree angle. For decline and flat, I go all the way to the chest and pause for a sec and then go back up.

    Jelly

No kidding. I'm about over mine today, minus some congestion, but I did legs yesterday and I felt like shit. I went through 2 bags of cough drops in 4 days. I can deal with the sinus shit, but I hate the body aches.

These body aches are killer. They're starting to pop up, and I can't tell if it's soreness from working out or what.... But I'm pretty sure my rib cage isn't supposed to hurt from doing back and bi's. Lmao
