Reducing sodium just helps get rid of excess water. It won't help with fat. If that doesn't work, introduce yourself to Mr. Pukey

So, I was bowling last night and in the 3rd frame of the first game (we bowl 3 games), my hip started hurting. Felt like a hip flexor. So I had to push through the final 27 frames feeling like my hip flexor was tearing away from my body. Stretched it last night. Felt decent today. Today is leg day. Hurts like a mother. Only started hurting right at the bottom of my squat on 225. I worked up to 295 but couldn't go any heavier. Had no explosion from the bottom. So, not only am i waddling around the gym like a baby deer because of leg day, but also because I'm pretty sure my hip flexor fell down my leg to my ankle now. So there's that.

My hip flexors are the thing I make sure to stretch out the most before squats and deads. Had my right one pull a quarter sized chunk of my hip bone off during high school wrestling. I'm officially a 24 year old with the hips of a 85 year old man.

I stretch them. I just didn't stretch them before I bowled last night. Lol. Apparently I'm gonna have to start.

What? You dont want me breathing heavy while I stare at you with half my face covered?

my hip flexors always gave me problems until I started sprinting and doing broad jumps every week. If you arent into that, any explosive movement before squating really helps get the hip flexors firing.

Be careful. Bowling is a very intense sport. I should know, I have three varsity letters in it.

Gotta order up some supps soon. Creatine and actually like nothing else haha. Still have like 2.5/5 lbs of ON whey protein. Really don't use that a lot unless I have to.

Need to start keeping track of it better though.

Anyone prefer either/or creatine powder vs pills?

Pills are probably more expensive...I'll get the powder lol I'm cheap

I've never tried the pills, but I like the ON powder. Cheap as hell and tasteless/oderless. It's like powdered air.

Niiiiice. It's my slide leg that's giving me problems. So, I Couldn't produce any power last night. It sucked ass. Still managed a couple decent games, but it hurt like a bitch to do it.

My 2 favorite pres right now are pre-kaged and pre-jym. I don't have any real reason to, but I trust Kris gethin and Jim Stoppani to not put a bunch of shit in their products.

Yeah I'll check prejym. The stimul8 has lots of warning labels about adverse health effects, so it must be good haha

Thing is I don't really want creatine in the preworkout

Holy tits tho, prejym has 300mg caffeine

Expensive, but it looks pretty legit

That'll definitely make for a tough time. My first job in high school was working at a bowling center (used to get bitched at so much for calling it an alley and told "an alley is where cats hang out"). Employees used to bowl for $.50 per game (I'm not that old, it was 1999), so I would sometimes throw 13-14 games after work practicing for high school. Got to a point that I could feel the tendons in my wrist snap like a rubber band when I released the ball.

I've always read that as long as it's Creapure, it's good. Anything else is likely filler. Apparently, Creapure is some German brand that had been proven to be the highest quality creatine out there. Good creatine isn't expensive either. I just stick with ON because there's no gimmicks: it's just pure, plain creatine

Were you here for my review of that shit a while back? Stimul8 is no fucking joke! I had to stop my workout halfway through b/c my heart was beating so fast. That is the preworkout of the Gods. Strongest pre I've ever taken

Pre Jym didn't do shit for me. I still wanna try Pre-Kaged and the Curse, though. Assault is still my favorite.

EDIT: pre's are weird though. Something that is amazing to me might not work at all for someone else and vice versa

Haha, where'd you buy the Stimul8? It never did that much to me in the beginning, not much now. I guess I have a high tolerance.

The curse's ingredients looked very lacking to me

How the hell did pre-jym not do anything?!? It's got 300 mg of caffeine. Not a ton of beta alanine, but enough to give me a slight tingle.

Yea the slide leg makes it rough. I'll get over it, though. You still bowl? What kind of average do/did you carry?

The gym I go to and used to work at orders supps from a company called PowerShack. I feel like my tolerance is pretty high. That was back when I was drinking my regular morning coffee, a Coke a day, plus my pre. These days, my only caffeine is from my morning coffee and my pre, which I try to take a week or two off of every now and then. I think Stimul8 and my body just don't get along. I've never had that effect with anything, even when I take 2 scoops of something.

That may be what it was. I usually don't even notice the boost in energy that much. I always look for the itch and the focus. I might give it another chance if ol' Jim will ever come down on his damn prices.
