Yerp, being not a rich person, the amount of servings I'll get from ON creatine and other preworkout seperate versus the prejym made me not buy prejym yet. Plus I already have caffeine throughout the day ranging from 100 to 400mg max. Adding to that would not be good.

Yeah, I usually try new preworkouts that are on sale...most of them suck lol. Assault and some other brands aren't too bad, but all of the Jym stuff is high. Damn that

Take a look at Citadel Nutrition. Bunch Georgia tech guys started it. Still getting going but good prices to me. Creatine, pre workout, fish oil, etc.

I bowl a couple of times a year now. I'd like to join a league again but I now live an hour north of where I grew up so its tough to get together with those friends I used to go with, and my friends here aren't really into it.

When I was in high school and right out, I averaged 192-196 with a high of 298. Now I would say I'm averaging around 170-175. How about you?

I'm a lefty so the coach and my league teams used to love me. There's not many of us, so when the oil dries up on the right side and the righties can't adjust, I'm usually just going along like normal the whole time. It also helped that I used to oil the lanes and once you've done the enough you can usually look at the lanes and tell what pattern was put down and how to handle it.

I'm a lefty too. My grandpa was a big time bowler. He bowled a 298 and a 297 and got rings for them. I've cracked 200 a few times but usually get around 170-175. Only bowl a few times a year now too like you. Used to be in to it a lot more. Have a ton of balls and "equipment" just collecting dust :anonymous:

I've been back at it for several years now. Every Monday night for 33 weeks.

I've been sucking ass for the last couple months. Ended last season with a 204, brought it up to a 206 or 207 to start this season....AAAAAAND now I'm down to a 193

I got a new ball and was tearing it up with it for a little bit...then it just stopped moving on me. Made a ball change this week and had a 191, 224, 233, so it was a good change. Lol. High game in league is a 298, high series of 769. It's fun. And frustrating as hell.

There are like 4 lefties out of the 60 guys in this league. I'm jealous of you guys. You can throw the same ball for 3 games. I have to move and change my speed halfway through the second.

I've only bowled at birthday parties lol. I suck, but it's fun. I've probably bowled 10 times in my life. The only hobbies I do regularly these days (other than the gym) are skeet shooting, rifle and pistol shooting, hunting, and fishing. I've always wanted to take boxing lessons, but I don't have time right now.

    x2. Lost me at Techies...

Haha, I know the feeling (on both accounts!). We had a neighborhood get together a few months back. When I walked in with my bag, balls, and shoes, all of a sudden everyone wanted to be on my team. Before that, I was jut the guy with the old Toyota in front of his house. :)

It's a shame that more of our age group isn't into it.

Wow. It's good to see someone's still doing the leagues. It's actually a decent workout for the arms. That's a damn good average. My favorite ball was the Triton. I had that thing forever. Got a few cracks in it. Would drill them out and fill them. Finally one day it came back with a big ass chunk missing from it. Now I have an El Nino and a La Nina. I bought the El Nino and then won the La Nina. Haven't changed since (don't want to split up the family!) :)

Ironically before I started working at the center in my junior year of high school, I had only gone 3 or 4 times. It just happened to work that a friend of mine in ROTC was working there and they needed a worker when I was looking for my first job. And of course you can't work at a bowling alley and not be on the bowling team.lol

haha I wish I got that response. Anytime a group of my friends talks about bowling and I show up with even just my own shoes I get made fun of. I've stopped bringing my own ball/glove/ect now. I still bring my own shoes just because it makes no sense to pay to wear dirty shoes from 1974 when I want to bowl. Although last time I went I pulled my shoes out of my bag and they had dry rotted and the soul was splitting away from the shoe :annoyed:

No - I was in to it a lot during high school and then took a break from it through college when I was too broke to afford the lane fee :anonymous:

I bowl! Not much now days. I was in a bowling league through middle school then moved to a town where the bowling league consisted of chain smokers and my parents didn't want to influence me.

Up until this current girlfriend it used to be my goto first date spot because it was always quiet, slightly competitive, and fun! Plus you can get cheap drinks.

I always talk about getting a bowling team together here and people are all excited but we never go through with it. Maybe the gal and I can get a few people together for it this weekend .
