Oh okay, I get it. So you weren't looking for advice, you just came on here to complain about how you lost strength after having the flu. Where is the mind blown gif?

I workout at golds by me right now. I've been there consistently for the past 2.5 years. For sure a mix of serious lifters and old people. They do a ton of body bump, body bullshit stuff every night so there's a lot of women/ old folk doing those. I pay only $25 a month so I can't complain there. I workout consistently with my two buds and have met some good dudes who are into powerlifting and bodybuilding.

No complaints from me but I feel like gyms are hit or miss depending on the demographics around you.

Half looking for advice, half complaining. Was just saying that I have been trying to load on complex carbs the last few days of recovery. My bad. Lmao

Its cool. I just like putting others down to compensate for my small pen15.

I used be a member at golds, then they were bought out by fitness connection. It was a nice gym though, it had everything I needed (good lighting, free weights, squat rack, sloots). Reason for leaving is because I moved. I agree that a gym is a hit or miss.

Same. I get help from my partner when doing higher reps to pump out a few more reps. Those last 2-3 help on realllllly pushing the muscle. On PR's though, don't touch lol.

Couldn't agree more. When the wife and I were in a gym in Huntington Beach while visiting her cousin, it was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Spray tans, spandex, hair gel, etc....it was a nightmare lol. Sloots wearing practically nothing (that part wasn't bad) and the biggest gym douches I've ever seen. The hotel gym when we went to Vegas was even worse...the kind of people that look at themselves in the mirror when having sex...I dunno what's up with all the egomanaics in the fitness world...lots of daddy issues or small penises, I guess :notsure:. In Florida, everyone is like 130 lbs and they all look like they're on meth (that might just be everyone in FL), and here in GA, it's full of dudes in jeans and boots who never do legs and 110 lb. teenagers decked out from head to toe in Monster Energy clothes

Lmao, the other night there was this kid that goes to my old highschool there. I was talking to his friend and we ended up doing a workout(s) together and he was flexing and looking at himself in the mirror. And he's like a stick hahaha.

Typical bro from these days though, has no weight on him really, just low bodyfat so he has abs but no gains...

I got the scoop on the kid that took his shirt off at the gym the other night from some of my friends and they said the same thing about him. They said he was like 10% bodyfat, but weighed like 140 lbs and was doing like full-on bodybuilding type poses in the mirror. We were praying that he'd come in again last night, but he never did :pout:

I've never been a full-on complete asshole to anyone in the gym, but if I see this dickhead, I'm gonna say something to him lol

Guys I saw the trifecta today for the first time

squat rack connected to the front of the platform

1 dude squatting in the rack
1 dude doing pullups on the front of the rack
1 dude doing deadlifts on the platform

they all had like 1.5 feet of space between each other
deadlift guy's face was so close to pullup guy's crotch

    it was hilarious

After not lifting weights for a couple of years, I'm back at it, today it was back squats with some cardio mixed in.

Dang, that's impressive as fuq! I weighed in at 209 this morning, which is the most I've ever weighed....sadly, I'm like 15-16% bf :anonymous: Gonna bulk to 220 and slowly cut down to 200. My goal is to never go under 200 again

    :worthless:

My legs are sorer than they've been in a looong time today from Tuesday's leg workout. The wife and I kilt them

    All 4 sets of 8-20:
    back squats
    romanian deadlifts
super-slow quad step ups (these things are intense)
    seated leg curl
    calves
