So I hit upper body twice yesterday and I feel like I could hit it again today. I was planning on skipping the gym today for a rest day but I feel great upper body wise. I hit legs Tuesday morning before work and my legs are more sore today than yesterday. It feels good to stretch but once I try and walk around my legs lock up and I damn near fall over. Constantly buckling and shit. Just wondering if there was any advice or tips or what not.

This girl I'm friends with on Facebook put up a before and after pic up b/c she lost like 60 lbs and there are so many people in the comments asking how she did and what her secret is...this is the problem with our country. Folks don't understand that all you have to do is not eat like a slob about 70% of the time and workout and you won't be fat

As one who did this recently, I applied your 2 rules. Doesn't hurt to ask I guess, but what works for one isn't for all

    What is this machine?

Most I've shrugged is 505 on a barbell. It wasn't pretty but I got it without having to drop it after

Idk what it's called. It started seated with 180 lbs then moved up to standing with 3 plates each side. Then did another set with 4 plates each side. I did 8 reps but I doubt you could count them so I'll call it one.

Are you sitting with your back or chest on the pad? I had one in my old gym that was for the chest and you kind of pulled the weight back and up but it was hard to shrug it, was more of a lat thing

You sit with your back on it. At least that's what I did. I really liked it

Any military guys in here? I want to pick your brain on your standard preparation workouts for selection of different specialty groups you see on the internet vs. circuit/crossfit type workouts and what you feel is more effective for a civilian wanting to get into that kind of conditioning shape and push themselves mentally.

More specifically.....if you were into lifting/bodybuilding before going into the military; how did your body change?

Or make changes. I was a stubborn prick about giving up soda for instance.

Anybody know anything about punching bags? Not anything big just want a heavy bag for the garage for when I hate people..so pretty much always.

Walmart has some for about $60 but what's the real difference between that and one costing double?
